I had not been into Golden Corral for some time. They had a little aesthetic upgrade. It was nice. It was me to look homie. There was also a man playing live music near the front that could be heard throughout the restaurant.
We were out of town visiting my wife's brother and sister-in-law, as we do several times a year. Besides playing card games and chatting there is always a trip to one of those "members only" stores. Accompanying that is always going out to eat, the best part! That days pick was the local Golden Coral. We all love to eat, but sometimes there is not enough variety or not enough quantity. Pretty much your typical Golden Corral, but the staff all seemed happy and they were hustling even near closing time. The bone in catfish were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived on the coast all of my life. Hands down perfection. I didn’t catch my waitresses name, but she was awesome, even with her being super busy!!!
