I recently tried Okki Dokki Korean Restaurant in Fort Walton and I'm hooked! The kimchi fried rice is a must-try, with just the right amount of spice, and the banchan sides add a tasty touch to every meal. Tiny mom and pop place, absolutely amazing food. Be patient and don't mind waiting a bit because it takes alittle while for the food. The owner gave us a free order of fried mandu for the wait. Absolutely delicious authentic Korean food. I'd highly recommend if your looking for real Korean food. The restaurant isn't much to look at but the food makes up for it!!!! I love this place! First Korean restaurant I ever ate at (back in 2003ish), and been going back ever since. I liked a Korean restaurant in Germany too, but no other place I've tried (about 20 others) has compared. The owner always remembers me, my family, and my friends. We don't even need a menu, she knows what food and drinks we want and lets us know if there's something special to try that day, like the seaweed soup.
