Have yet to ever have a bad experience at Bangkok Square! The pad thai is very well done. Please order the crispy tofu, (sorry no picture because it’s that’s good)! However, the spicy levels are not on par with Thailand’s in the slightest. Very spicy is hardly spicy at all, so expect that if you love spice like I do! Hands down the best crab rangoon’s in the game. They have a light orange color because they are turmeric heavy and literally SO good. The cold som tom seafood salad is delectable, very fresh and similar to an authentic one! Also not pictured, Tom Yum Soup which is the classic Thailand soup - a little on the sweeter side if you don’t like spice as much.

Don't let the fact that this restaurant is in a small strip plaza fool you. The first thing I ever notice is how clean it is when we enter the establishment. Service is always friendly and fairly fast. The food is so rich in flavor that we have a hard time deciding each visit. I will post pics of previous visits once I find them.Tonight, we ordered the grilled prime sirloin marinated in curry and cream of coconut on bamboo stick, served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad! Beautiful Thai flavors. Especially enjoyed the cucumber salad. We also started with the Chicken and coconut soup flavored with chili paste, mushrooms, galanga, lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves, scallion and cilantro. This is by far our favorite soup! Perfect balance of flavor with plenty of fish sauce tones. Our mains were Panang Curry with curry paste in coconut milk with Tofu, zucchini, bell peppers, and ground peanuts. It's a beautiful mix of red curry with the Amazing Sauce peanut element added for another level of flavor. He had the Green Curry with chicken, which incorporates green curry paste in coconut milk, bell peppers, green bean, peas, carrots, and basil leaves. WOW! Beautiful punch of Thai Basil! It's just delicious and creamy! Stop by. They are closed Mondays, but worth the trip any other day of the week.Kid-friendliness: Always attentive and kind.

One of the best Thai places in town. The restaurant is really nice inside and the service is good. The food tastes really good my only complaint is the portion size could be a bit bigger I could have ate more. I ordered the basil fried rice and I enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is pretty small and quiet inside, but it is decorative and well-kept. Our servers were attentive and the food came out fairly quickly.

Been to many Thai restaurants this one is one of the best. Suggest the crispy spring rolls and also the fried rice. Best fried rice I've ever had. They have two locations in Gainesville so you've got two choices. Enjoy!

Food is great. Buy severely understaffed, one waitress for a whole room of guests, and nobody cares about the customers who ordered takeout. Not recommended due to the waiting

Was in Gainesville for a Dr. Appt. And wanted Thai. We had a Pad Thai and the drunken noodle. It was very good. Could have been a little more spicy but flavors were there.

service/ambiance: definitely family owned restaurant; cozy & intimate vibes with friendly staff i ordered the tofu drunken noodles-- as a non-vegetarian, i can't help but ALWAYS order tofu here... the fried tofu has such a rich flavor but even better texture --firm on the outside & filled with the noodle's sauces on the inside. personally, i wish the portions were larger (granted, the price is reasonable for the size) but i only wish this because it's so good and i want MORE!! the sauce isn't too salty and the noodles are cooked just the right amount of chewy! for the dessert, i tried the icecream with crunchy bananas --basically bananas wrapped in fried rice paper with coconut icecream! very interesting blend of flavors (in a good way) and very light on the soul. good to share with a group of friends if you want a small dessert :)

This place has the BEST green curry… I actually can’t explain how good it is. It’s worlds different than any green curry I’ve ever had. I actually only got pad thai whenever going to Thai places… and now I can’t go anywhere else because the green curry and red curry is so good…
