Best burrito in Gainesville and the best California burrito (the San Diego) this side of the Rockies
Ordered food over an hour ago. Still not ready. Will not let you go in shop but employees aren't wearing a mask.
We decided to grab a quick bite for brunch and stopped at Burrito Famous. It has been over a year since we have been back since it is not near our new house. Really glad we did. They currently have the place setup for walk up window service but have enhanced the setup outside. Placing the order was efficient and straight forward. The food was the star. My wife's breakfast burrito was large and flavorful which by the way you can get any time as they have breakfast all day. I can't say no to the rice bowl and it did not disappoint. If you are one who likes sauces which I am then Burrito Famous has many many options available to add to sauce up your meal. I also want to highlight that both staff members checked up on us multiple times to see how the meal was and if there was anything they could do for us. A+ for food and service. I just wished we lived closer to enjoy this local gem more often.
Staff seems nice and everything I've tried has been delicious. Their bowls & salads have generous portions and it's fairly quick.
It was good. Just needed some seasoning on my chicken tacos and some sauce it was a bit dry.
Burrito Famous on 34th is in Gainesville Florida is fantastic
I ordered a Mexicano bowl and I was told there is no steak, so I substituted with chicken. When I got home I realised they also didn’t add cheese and guac. When I called, they told me that there is nothing they can do about it. I had a $10 bowl with chicken, rice, lettuce, jalapeño and pico. Save your money and get food elsewhere.
Saturday night .Open till Midnight, might be Awesome. ?Nice clear water. Thank you.
Food is good but the service for the past few years I’ve gone here has been pretty lame. The staff tend to look like they’re there cause they have to be and they are almost as slow as subway sometimes. Today I ordered 5 meal items and they literally forgot 2 of them said “that should be everything” and handed it off and charged full price
Love the Earthwalker burrito...great taste combination...oh, and they have super friendly-professional customer service

If I could have left no stars that’s would it would be. The Lady with the dark that calls herself the assistant manager has the absolute worst customer service skills. I came a week and half ago and was charged for something I didn’t get and because her attitude was so bad I ate and left. Came back today and explained to her what happened and why I didn’t tell her. She didn’t care and said there was nothing she could do! I will never ever come back because of her and over been coming here for 3 years because the food is great.
food is good but ever since covid-19 it has gone down. both Moes and Chipotle you can watch them make your food now however at burrito famous you still can only order by the window. it was lot better when you could watch them make your burrito. now it seems their food is always "skimped" compared to the quality when you could tell them more sauce please. not really been happy with BF in the past year.
The chicken Diablo is beautifully seasoned and the mango habanero salsa is a nice touch. I would've preferred spicier but I think it was perfect for the average American palate. The fresh queso dip marries perfectly with their homemade seasoned tortilla chips (get the large queso, you'll want more!). The guac was fresh but could use a tiny bit more salt and onions for me, kind of bland. Will definitely be back!
We had street fries, street corn, chicken tacos and a Cali Surfer burrito. It was all good with nice fresh flavors and fast service. I didn't give 5 stars because somethings were a little off. Some parts of our food were really, oddly cold that should not have been so. We ordered at the window and picked it up as soon as it was served, and we ate there too, so there wasn't any time for food to maybe get cold like if we had it delivered or drove it home before eating. There was clear, cool water in the bottom of the street fries tray that had no real good reason to be there, it wasn't condensation, and part of the fry order was strangely cold too. Only other thing I'd suggest is that their street corn needs butter. I've never had street corn that wasn't also buttered. Over all though, it was good and we will go here again!
