Such a great, cute restaurant with amazing gluten free options and dedicated menu. I got the GF blueberry waffle with eggs and bacon and it was amazing! The staff was kind and the atmosphere was so peaceful. It belongs in a Hallmark movie! Can’t wait to go back. It’s always nice to eat at a restaurant that understands food allergies.Dietary restrictions: They really understand food allergies.

Well, first of all the atmosphere was great and their service was excellent which hurts me to say bad things about the actual food. I don’t know if it was my bad choice or what but I think when you are serving sth it should taste good and meet some standards. It was supposed to be a Moroccan chicken wrap, the chicken was bland and tasteless so was the 2 tablespoons of pasta salad on the side. The only thing I enjoyed was their homemade lemonade and definitely the friendliness of the staff!

I finally tried this place after passing by countless times. Walked in on a Friday afternoon, got seated promptly. Ordered the huevos rancheros and Mediterranean egg salad wrap--both delightful. Portion sizes seemed small initially but turned out to be perfect. Service was efficient and friendly, with a cozy atmosphere that felt like home. Only downside: cash or Venmo payments only, so be prepared!

My daughter and I have a rule when traveling for her softball tourneys- never eat where we can at home. This is definitely one of those places. And oh what a gem we found. It's as comfy as eating at home, as good as a home cooked meal but with flare! We took three sandwiches to go for lunch at the field and I cannot wait to bite into them later. Blueberry waffle and French toast was crisp and flavorful!

One of the few places in town where you can get a decent vegan breakfast. Back patio is a nice hangout when the weather is right.

I stopped in to see what was happening at the old restaurant at the corner of Territorial and Woodward and discovered Suipi and her amazing food. Later that afternoon I brought my 84 year old sister in for lunch. My sister had never eaten Burmese food. Suipi welcomed us and sat with us explaining how her food was made and cooked. My sister told her she liked vegetables and chicken but no hot peppers or spice. Suipi brought her a wonderful dish of fresh spinach and cucumbers, a dish of finely chopped cabbage and carrots, and a chicken dish that was so tender it melted in your mouth. I have never seen my sister eat so much in my life. I had goat curry, my all time favorite curry dish that was the best I have ever enjoyed. The jasmine rice was cooked to perfection. Stop at Suipi's East End Eatery and treat yourself to amazing food prepared with care and love.

I wrote my original review 8 years ago and still go to the East End Eatery. It's not like a gourmet restaurant, but it is consistently yummy and a family favorite. They accommodate our food allergies, they're always very friendly, and it's a really nice atmosphere. I think it's only fair to now give them five stars.

We stopped by for brunch and was greeted by the hostess/waitress, Diana. We took a look at the daily specials on the board and was seated immediately. We ordered sweet tea and coffee as we looked over the menu. She returned with our drinks and cups of water. We ordered french toast with two eggs scrambled and fresh fruit as well as (The Blue Plate) 2 eggs scrambled with smoked Gouda grits, thick bacon extra crispy, and a biscuit. The grits needed butter and salt in our opinion and thankfully they were available. The meal was great. We wanted grape jelly to go on the biscuit but they only offer strawberry jam so that was disappointing. The biscuit though was fluffy and incredibly good. We left those plates clean. The service was terrific. Diana was the only person we saw serving guests and there was about 5-7 occupied tables. Diana zipped back and forth all over that restaurant and didn't miss a beat. She was kind and always smiling. Just watching her work was incredible. We tipped her 51 percent for that effort. The place itself is nice. Big glass windows for natural light. Plenty of ceilings fans that kept it nice and cool. Lot of different things hanging from the ceiling and on the walls to look at. There was also a big bucket of peppermints at the door too, the good kind. Also liked that there was a bottle of hand sanitizer at the table. Will definitely be back often. Note: The payment options are cash and Venmo only. Honestly, I didn't know this until I read the reviews after posting my review. I just so happen to have cash and paid cash. Definitely need to be advised of that prior to being seated or have clear and very noticeable signage on the door, table, menu, etc. However, I don't mind paying cash to help the restaurant maintain lower prices and a lower overhead.

This wonderful eatery has a serious menu that is well balanced. Some vegetarian options can be chosen with vegan food substitutions. The restaurant is clean and just so warm, inviting, laid back with vintage decorations, and simple seating. I love the feel of this restaurant. Our server was kind, friendly, and attentive. Portions were enough so I could take some home. I had tempeh scramble gluten-free and vegan. It was delicious and served hot. They had made fresh homemade lemonade, which was so yummy. It was a gentle environment that allowed relaxation. My friend who has never loved the vegan option salad with homemade raspberry vinaigrette.Vegetarian options: Mostly tempeh dishes but so well prepared!
