We stopped here on our way back to SC from visiting the manatees in Crystal River. The food was amazing! We tried several different menu options, including the roumelade salad, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, and the oreo beignets. Our server was Ashley and she was very friendly and gave awesome drink recommendations. I hope we make it back on our next road trip!

My guest and I had the chicken and grits w collard greens. They put the greens in the middle of the grits. ?Next time I order it I will have the greens on the side. We did enjoy the meal. ??The drinks were great.???Parking: Update 3/17/2024Construction ? in the area. Once the construction is complete it should be a little better. Popular restaurant. ? ??

We visit Gainesville twice per month and always eat at Harry's. It is delicious if you enjoy Cajun food. The best authentic Cajun food in Florida. The staff is always so friendly and nice. The homeless are all over downtown so try to park as close as possible and eat and leave before dark is my suggestion. The homeless in this area have mental illness and drug addictions. We keep pepper spray and an alarm on us. For this reason do not eat outside.Parking: Parking is free on weekends.

My party enjoyed the whole evening. The food, so they say was delicious. For me, going through cancer treatment was not able to eat or drink. The smells were fantastic. I'll be back!

The food was amazing but the service was lacking. We had to wait an extended period and ask for drinks, checks, to go boxes, etc. It was at lunch so maybe they were understaffed.....

Was my first time visiting Gainesville and we stopped in for dinner and this place did not disappoint!!!! Food was 10/10. Drinks were okay 7/10.The only thing I was a little bummed about was the Oreo beignets we had for dessert. It was good but I was expecting it be an actual beignet and instead got a deep fried Oreo. Other than that, I will definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area.

I recently tried Harry’s for the first time and safe to say it is now one of my favorite spots in Gainesville. Went on a Tuesday around lunchtime and there was no wait time. Our server was very nice and attentive; she checked on our table many times and made sure our food was tasting good.We first got bread which was absolutely amazing and the butter it came with was really good too. We ordered a cup of the crab bisque to share and it was some of the best soul I have ever tried; it was really good dipping the bread in there too.I ordered the lunch salad crescent city Cobb which was absolutely huge and it was really good too. My boyfriend ordered the French market pasta which was also huge and he enjoyed it a lot.Harry’s is a bit more on the expensive side but when considering the quality and amount of food you receive it is definitely worth it. The establishment is also very nice and clean inside. I will definitely be returning!Update: went again and got the Louisiana crab dip as an appetizer which is reallyyyy good, only be warned that it is super salty. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and shrimp creole which was really good and a huge portion size.Recently ordered the chicken tacos and they were so good. Our waiter Joey was super nice and attentive. One of my favorite restaurants in Gainesville easily! They always let us take bread home
