Would not recommend this place. Food was not that great and 4 of the 6 people from our group had bad tummy ache after eating there on Dec 24, 2023

Pad-Thai here is very authentic and trust me I am Thai I know it. I love Doo Dee Noodle too, feel like I was having noodle from street food in Thailand!! Thai tea is great as well better try it.

I ordered some food off grubhub and the driver canceled it for no reason. If It Is called me and told me that the food was made and they do not know why the driver canceled and drove the food out to me themselves. I do not know a single other restaurant that would do this for their customers.12/10 service. Best panang curry in Gainesville because theirs is actually spicy and doesn't have random cilantro :)

I used to love the original If it is cafe..but ordering this time, it's apparently a collab between HASS and if it is while the latter's new location is under construction. I'm so disappointed with the food. We ordered avocado rolls and veggie gyozo for appetizers, panang and masamman curry. The appetizers were ok but entrees were not good at all...had to leave them unfinished.I hope they go back to their old taste in the new location.

love this place they have amazing food and good service they are on the pricier side but it is worth it. Best appetizers are definitely crab rangoon and spring rolls. The best dish in my opinion is definitely pad Thai, but I also really liked the panang curry, drunken noodles, and any kind of fried rice. The picture I put is the drunken noodles which was honestly more chicken than noodles and then just a lot of veggies

Recommended dishes: Spring Rolls, Pad Thai Chicken

I would like to give this place six stars!!! The appetizers are half off 4-7 everyday . My 4 year old son, who is super picky, ate the fried tofu and gyozo. The boba tea here is AMAZING. They use, high quality tea leaves and real milk (have nondairy options), and serve it in a beautiful glass. I always feel weird about the “nondairy powder” used at boba places and the plastic waste. And they have noncaffeinated latte options — this is so rare, even in proper cafes! The drink my husband got was amazing and also half off during happy hour. It was called GNT and made with rooibos gin and honey. Just delicious. The food here is some of the best Thai I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Thailand :-) very reasonably priced.Love this place!!!!

I checked out Hass Kitchen - Pit & Peel (I’m still confused on what exactly their name is) on a Saturday for brunch with some friends. If you’re an avocado fan, this is the place for you: everything (or almost everything) on the menu has avocado incorporated into it. I ordered the chicken and waffles; was the perfect combination of crunchy, chewy, salty, and sweet. Pretty good portion size as well. I also got the avocado fresh milk smoothie but I would say that this didn’t have much flavor and wasn’t worth the $6.50. This restaurant is unique and definitely worth a try whether you’re a long-time resident or just visiting Gainesville.

Parking is a bit harder to find but food is great. Fresh. Came on a Monday and was not super busy, was seated immediately and got my food as quick as I ordered it.

Sometimes service is a little slow, but it’s because it gets incredibly busy and I only ever see 2-3 servers (which double as food runners, hosts, and bartenders as well) working their butts off! It doesn’t really matter because the food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is so polite and friendly. Not to mention they have a full tea bar (including the most amazing boba ?), an amazingly crafted cocktail menu, and great happy hour specials on food & drinks! Perfect for a date night, fun with friends, or a family outing. Love this place!

This historic spot has been through many iterations over the years and this restaurant feels like a square peg in a round hole. But it is a delicious square peg in a cozy round hole. This amazing pan-Asian menu, with everything from sushi to curry and fried rice to their famous Doo Dee noodles, will make you look past the outdated interior and its mismatched furniture and booths. There are literally dozens of dishes that I want to try, so hopefully this iteration sticks around!

Weird place. Comically large menu with probably 200+ items, a full Thai menu and incredibly expensive sushi with things like sea urchin, foie gras and edible gold leaf. Lots of hand written signs posted up all over the place just inside the entrance. No music on the patio so if you're out there alone or with only one other table it's a little awkward.
