Sadly this business will be closing soon (Dec 30, 2023) but I wanted to make a review just sharing how amazing I think their ice-cream is!! Sweet Dreams truly was a special aspect of Gainesville and will be missed.

Great hometown ice-cream shop! The ice-cream flavors are amazing and they now have other desserts too. The staff are very helpful. I stop by for a scoop anytime I am in that area.Parking: Lots of spaces in front of the space as well as additional parking around.Kid-friendliness: A fun place to take kids, family, friends out for a treat.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking into the store. Lots of space inside and accessible bathrooms.

The mayan chocolate is so hard to come by as they don't always have it. My favorite flavor in the world, and that's no exaggeration. I tried their coconut creme cake, and it was amazing. The staff are always kind of dull, they don't really greet you, and they don't really say bye when you leave, so it feels like they don't want you to be there. But they are attentive nonetheless, I just try to ignore that part.

had to find someone to serve at the counter…as no one was around.pricing for this place not great…ice cream ok…pumpkin pie, boring.reviews for what it’s worth might rank this as something “wow” in G’ville… but compared to ice cream shops aroundthe country…way down the list. And, theywant you to pay with Zelle…which I have…and that didn’t work at all. Slow and in the end big waste of time. What a business.

I’ve been here a few times and the ice cream flavors are yummy and different. I like how they have a variety of flavors to choose from and they allow you to try them out at as samples as well. I am not sure if their ice cream flavors changes every day or weekly. There was this flavor I tried for the first time that I happened to like a lot and it was not there the next time I went on a different day.As for the staff, they were really nice, patient, and greeted you as you entered the business with a kind vibe. I felt comfortable and welcomed into the small business. Other than that, service is a lot slower depending on what the person ahead of you orders.Lastly, I believe it is expensive for what you get for a cup of ice cream compared to how much ice cream you can get if you buy it in a store. Despite that, it is still a nice treat to get sometimes.

The milkshakes were very runny and not thick at all. Too much milk is added to them, so it made for a not so good experience since they were $8 a piece.

Very cute place! It is all committed to a theme of ice cream from merchandise to the tables. I got their house chocolate, which was pretty good. My favorite ice cream combo is chocolate and peanut butter. Unfortunately, theirs didn't quite hold up to some other places, but their flavors rotate throughout the year so I'm hopeful! Their other flavors, such as lavender, hibiscus, or black raspberry, are deliciously intense! I'm especially excited to try the truffles that I ordered to go.
Delicious brown sugar toffee and birthday cake ice cream! Waffle cones are delicious and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I love Sweet Dream's Ice Cream!! They even have flower flavored ice creams like violet and rose. I plan to have my book signing for my book 'I Feel Loved When You Give Me Flowers' there. This book is for beginning readers with all the beginning sight words and it is about showing your mom love!
