The food is good. The place is a little small and basic. I went at night about an hour before closing. It seems to cater to the college crowd. Overall experience is four stars.Parking: Parking is parallel to the road on the side. There are plenty of college drivers on this road.
So, I ordered the butter chicken & the Tandoori chicken for my husband. Both were excellently prepared. The service was very courteous.Vegetarian options: Dhall MakhaniMany more
The food is EXCELLENT! Both the cook and how they serve it. We have ordered for work events and they have put together an amazing spread on MINIMAL lead time. We even had a few chicken nuggets only eaters who are now in love with butter chicken and basmati rice! I have not had the opportunity to dine in, but the atmosphere seems cosy with indoor and outdoor seating. I can't wait for our next order!Vegetarian options: Just about every dish has a vegetarian option with a good plant-based protein souce.
Went here two nights in a row. Get the large chicken curry extra spicy its a great price. Strong

Everything we ordered was delicious, Samosa was really fresh and tasty. If you’re ordering the biryani be aware of the portion, it’s definitely for two people in my opinion. I personally liked the vegetarian stews better than biryani but I don’t have anything bad to say about it!

I'd give it five stars on everything but it really is an express, so it doesn't have a fancy setting. I think they probably get a lot more to goes than they get people that eat there, but I don't know that for sure. When I was there, everybody was getting their food to go. Not sure where they parked. I know it was quite a chore for me. I think that would be the only thing that I'm not crazy about. That being it's so hard to find a parking space just to go in for 10 minutes to get something to take away. It's the busy part of town and they're doing work on the roads which doesn't help, in the end it was worth it. I got curry chicken and I believe they were called samosas. It was really good. Just because it's a takeout place that doesn't mean it's not well prepared and delicious. It is. Apparently they have a buffet during the week and I went there on a Saturday so I had to just order one thing. I would love to come back and try some of their other options. If I can get to Gainesville again I will definitely hit this place again. I definitely recommend this place. Even though it looks like a little hole in the wall, it's really good food. And the guy that worked there was very nice. He didn't rush anybody when they were trying to make a decision and he was very helpful explaining what each of the dishes were. He was also good about making sure that he followed what you wanted. Specifically I did not want my curry chicken too hot. He did it perfectly. I think there's just a couple of people working there. I saw someone else that was bringing food out and probably cooking behind the scenes. Give it a try if you like Indian food. I think this Indian food is very good. Everyone else seemed to like theirs too. The portions are quite large also. You'll probably have enough for two meals. Very nice!

Very yummy and express is correct. Was in and out within 10 minutes maybe less. The naan was delicious. Should’ve gotten rice too but that’s on me. Hot level had kick but didn’t think my meal. Ate the whole thing.

This restaurant used to have good food before. I regularly used to order Fish Curry. Post-Covid, I don't know if the cooks changed or what, the taste and quality have gone down drastically. The Chicken Vindaloo I ordered was very tomato-heavy. It was actually just cooked tomato puree with some chilli , salt and some overcooked chicken pieces. Indian Food is supposed a lot of other flavors which the item absolutely did not have. I've been disappointed with several orders fro this place now each time hoping that it'll be better the next time. Lesson learned!

Good amount for what you pay as well as quality food. Owner is very kind as well. Only downside is finding parking but other than that 5/5
I ordered through doordash and when the food arrived I was very pleased. Lamb dish, tender and very delicious. The goat dish was tantalizing my taste buds with every bite. Nice and spicy. Excellent portions. Would definitely order from here again.

Very poor. Their Biryani is all rice and very little meat as are their curries, just gravy. I specifically asked them to add chicken to my chicken Biryani (strange that you have to ask!). They charged me extra but still all i got was rice with 2-3 sad little pieces of chicken.I am never going back again.

This place is such a gem. We got the chicken korma and veggie paneer and loved both. Huge portions and very friendly staff. Witnessed them very kindly and patiently walk a guest through the menu who had never had Indian food before. My lunch was just as good today for leftovers. I could eat a thousand of those samosas. Fast and easy as well. Will be back.

So yummy guys, this place has the best Indian food ever! And 12÷10 would recommend to people in the Gainesville area for a cheap and good Indian food. Also the people that work there are so nice, yumm
