Best little camp site, best fishing. Easy access off Hwy 301 in Hawthorne. Troy, Jeff and Linda are the best host's. Come at least 1-2 times monthly or as much as we can. Have camper call for availability they also have six cabin rentals. Can’t say enough about the camp and the hosts taking care of it. Our all time favorite camping/fishing spot.
We stayed here for a week in our RV. Small, compact park nicely located on the lake with full hook-ups. Great sunsets over the lake. Convenient boat ramp by the office/diner. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Downsides - Internet virtually non existent unless you go sit out by the camp office, bathrooms clean but primitive - no doors on the stalls just a shower curtain, and the CSX railroad is directly adjacent to the park, so be prepared to be woken up several times in the night by...read full review

Driving through and glad we stopped. Only open for another two weeks then closing for the season. Very friendly, down home service. Fish sandwich and burgers were excellent. Hint: get the onions.
