What this place lacks in ambiance and appeal it makes up for in the flavor of the food. The food is not over seasoned as I've found in other Cuban establishments. The service is always very friendly and attentive. The chicken ropa vieja was tasty and perfect. The pan conn bistec was ok. I've definitely had better. This restaurant was the first time I went with some friends and I loved it. The food was all great. With my eyes closed I recommend it. And I will return as many times as necessary. Keep in that way. ??

Despite being Cuban-American and having been raised in Miami, I was a fu-fu de platano virgin. That is the case no longer. I have nothing else to compare the fufu to, but it was DELICIOUS! I had it as a side instead of as an entree with either pork or shrimp. Que rico!
