“2024-02-20 Fantastic Pizza and super nice employees. We moved to Hilliard last year and there aren't many restaurants here. We have ordered to-go and eaten-in here multiple times. When we have family or friends coming from Fernandina we usually order Spinners to go and everyone loves it. When you ask for extra cheese you get LOTS of cheese with a smile. Salad and pizza bar is only a couple days a week but it's fresh and delicious, they even ask what kind of pizza you would like on the pizza bar! Restaurants this good are rare.Kid-friendliness: Nice to kids and a couple games in the back.”

“Had the shrimp dinner. Came with two sides and two hush puppies. 15 medium shrimp that were breaded and deep fried. They also have grilled and blackened. Nice little dude treat.”

“Good food if that’s what you’re looking for. Last week I had shrimp egg rolls and they were delicious. This week the cabbage was mushy and only 1 shrimp in each roll and they were fried too hard. I got shrimp egg foo young a little burnt and the gravy was too salty. My wing combos I ordered with lo mein. Looked like yesterdays. It was dark in color, not fresh. This is why I should take pictures.”

Everybody that says food is good, you might can't believe them, because they just don't know. But I do, and Ms Jackie and her husband,.. they are putting it out there. That crab salad !!! and the banana pudding!!!! You gonna slap your mama and your daddy after you eat that. I loved it. Try the Parfait. It's not a dessert, but it is yummy. “Will always be one of my favorites, have gone here since I was born, my family before then, so for over 25-30 years, before they even moved to this location, they just know how to do the dang bbq thang!! You won't be disappointed with anything on the menu. I am loyal to the chicken nuggets most of the time, but always nibble on the ribs, pork and brisket sandwiches, and anything else the family gets ? the sides are delicious, green beans are always a must!! The owner, Danny, is so down-to-earth and generous. I've eaten birthday meals here, had them cater my graduation party, and know many weddings catered by Callahan! You just can't beat great food cooked by great people!Parking: Parking can be hard to find during lunch and dinner hours, as it is located in complex with other businesses, but there is usually a spot, might have to walk across the lot, but usually a spot!”

“I hate BBQ. To the point where my family jokes about it.That being said. I was taking a trip to purchase something out of Hilliard Florida and had to stop to buy windshield wipers at O'Reilly's. When I got out of the car the smell was so good that I had to ask the people inside what it was. They told me it was the restaurant across the street called Jalen's BBQ. I conferred with my friend and we decided to eat lunch there.The people from O'Reilly's suggested the loaded fries, I was in more of a mood for a sandwich, so I got the sandwich, collard greens and potato salad. My friend got the sandwich and the half order of loaded fries. The food was absolutely amazing. The only disappointing thing about the visit was the fact that they do not sell their mustard-based sauce. It is not yet bottled for sale, that is a problem they are remedying at the moment.The portions were huge. The only thing I would have liked some more of was the potato salad but then I wouldn't have been able to finish everything else.”

“Absolutely nothing fancy here, decent home style cooking. Nice buffet, local favorite. Seafood buffet on Fridays. Had a Burger it was good and the husband had the shrimp basket. Fry Cook appreciated our comments.”

“Family friendly. We eat here at least once a month with church members; usually 10 to 15 people and they're very accommodating the wait staff are excellent never losing patience. When it was possible we call and let them know that we're coming and they try to have our tables prepared for us. If we have to wait there's no more than 15 minutes.”

“Absolutely amazing place for coffee! The atmosphere is so great my almost 4 year old daughter felt right at home . The coffee was AMAZING, so much so that I got a second one before heading home ? this will definitely be a regular place to stop when we are in town. I know the employees are trained to let you just keep punching in your number to try and beat the door and avoid getting burned, but they could at least OFFER to help! “The steaks are awesome. Service is excellent. Try their Tiramisu Cake it is the best in the world. An easy place to get to with ample no hassle free parking. The hospitality compliments the food they serve with prices that that are reasonable in today's market. Moreover, you will leave there with enough food to carry you into the next day. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, they are a tough act for any restaurant to follow.”
