I've never been a huge fan of po' boy sandwiches but I'm obsessed with their shrimp po' boy! The food usually takes a solid 25+ minutes to be done so be sure to call in advance. It's a small place and everyone is really nice. Definitely one of my new go-to spots.
I grew up just north of NYC in a place called Newburgh. Located there was an absolutely amazing little Mom & PoP Italian restaurant called Phil and Neal's.They had the BEST food all the time. 50 years ago they set my bar on what Great NY style Italian food should be and taste.Their meatball Parmesan sub ( hoagie) was THE BEST.Since then I've searched for that combination of flavors and ingredients in every town I've lived in, to no avail. Awesome service! I had the shrimp po boy and it was divine at an affordable price. It even had the remoulade sauce just like New Orleans. Definitely will be coming back :)Update: I go back almost every day to pick up one of their EBC breakfast sandwich! The best breakfast in town for $5 and it comes with a drink.
