“I got an ice latte with coconut milk. It was really strong so consider adding syrup to your order if you usually don't!The staff were really nice and did a great job ☕Edit: They use like 5 gallons of syrup here. You gotta specify like 2 pumps max.”
“My wife is the Senior NCO and she rather eat at the military dinning facilities than eating processed food off base. She said the salad bar is amazing and the chicken gordon blue, grilled pork chops and fried chicken delish. She highly recommends eating there for a fraction of the cost vs off base restaurants”
“Cool bowling ? alley on base. I had never been to the base before. We were on a class field trip. The staff was amazing and very accommodating for our 4 ESE middle school classrooms. The food was good and very reasonable.”
“Great little spot to grab a drink and unwind, while looking out at the water, or sitting out watching the water on the boardwalk! Just had a beer for hubby and a cocktail for me, so I don't know about the food. Service was super friendly and attentive. Great ”
“Sherrie is the best, personality is a BIG A+. She knows people who do everythingParking: Stop and support your local beach bar always FIRSTWheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp”
“For $10 that was a huge steak sandwich. I don’t understand the complaints. The steak was was well seasoned and well cooked. It was not overwhelmed with cheese sauce. The lettuce and tomato is not necessary for a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich but it doesn’t hurt. Service was a little slow but it was lunch time.”
“This is one of the best Subways my wife and I have been to in the area and usually get good food there, except for today (09/11/2020). We got there at about 2:30 PM and they have on there business hours they close at 6 PM (Friday). My wife wanted a veggie wrap (nope), but was told there was no wraps available. So my wife ordered a veggie footlong sub wanting CHEESE (check), LETTUCE (check), TOMATOES (nope), CUCUMBERS (nope), BLACK OLIVES (check), ONIONS (nope), GUACAMOLE (nope). When my wife asked the employee making the sub about the vegetables, or the lack there of, the employee stated "What you see is what you get...". I don't know if the employee was being smart or just didn't want to get any replacement containers of vegatables as every other Subway we have been to does that. Is there something special about this Subway that they make good sandwiches, when they have the proper ingrediants, but they don't carry enough ingrediants for the customers coming in? There were three other customers that were in line behind us and I would think they would not like having limited ingredients on their sub as well. It just didn't make sense that this location was suppose to be open for another three and a half hours and they just started with a limited amount of product for a busy location with it being on base and the amount of customers they get throughout the day. Just ridiculous.”
“Arrived for a late lunch and the cafe was empty. Service was quick and friendly and the burger was fantastic. The meal came with a great view. I'll be back soon to try out the other menu items.”
“Fast food actually was fast. Fries are bland though. Double stacker is literally just a small cheeseburger with extra patty. Picture not as advertised but still tasty.”
“Great food! Very good with gluten free concerns! Fish tacos, grilled fish, and sides are fresh and affordable. Collard Greens and Grits!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free”
“This place is my FAVORITE place to eat here in the local area. So amazing! It’s a must try. And the workers here are so nice and helpful. I will always be a returning customer here!”
“They're always so friendly and their food is made fresh with care. Absolutely try them. I love the rice bowls for lunch. So filling! And you have to try the spicy sauce!”
“Never been to a Korean steakhouse before….omg where have you been all my life?! Expensive but worth every penny. Everything was delicious, down to the egg soufflé (which I saved half of and put on a bagel the next morning ?). I was nervous that the portion size would be too small but my husband and I had plenty of leftovers for breakfast and lunch the next day.”
“This is our go to place for lunch. Great food, location, and right on the water. We grab lunch and let the kids play in the sand. Beer prices are insane at $8 a can but somewhat expected for the location. Recommend for families as they have large seating areas and small play area for them. Bring some sand toys.Parking: Can be full at prime lunch times.”
“We are here from TN where there are no Peruvian restaurants. First when you walk in it is neat and clean and spacious with a beautiful decor including Peruvian artwork. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and attentive. I wanted to introduce my friends to authentic Peruvian cuisine like my mother in law used to make. We ordered anticocho, lomo saltaldo, and yucca Frita. The food was perfection. I can not say enough about how great it was. It reminded me of my mother in law’s cooking.”
“Souvlaki chicken skewer was cooked perfect and seasoning was delicious. The Liver and Onion was the best we have ever had. Will become a regular.Service could not be beat. Knowledgeable about the food and made a great recommendation. We will be back!”
“Best pizza I have ever had. The crust was incredibly good. The service was the best I have had since before covid. The only advice I would give is serve the drinks in cups not cans.”
“I had the tofu bowl and it was amazing! The portion size is generous. I was only able to eat half. Josh was very nice and offered to let me try any of the food I was interested in. I am glad that I've found a vegan place to eat in our area. Thank you for providing that!”
“Great authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, their mofongo is so tasty and delicious. Their meat is very well seasoned and cooked, you won't need the knife to cut any of their meats. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place and it's a must go location if you are in the Fort Walton location. Thumbs ”
“Absolutely delicious! Friendly service. Amazing food. This was right next door to where we stayed. Had this one night, and the Shanty the next. Should have ate here all three nights of our visit.”
“Tonight was a late night at work, but I was craving some ramen. I’ve always heard amazing things about this place and tonight proved why. I pulled up as they were closing down. And still offered to be able to make my ramen bowl for me. The flavor and spice was just right!! Amazing food!! I will be back for sure and I’m definitely going to try their breakfast.”
“The counter girl is Always friendly and happy makes you feel welcomed and fast service and some ? bbqHonestly would hire the young lady to work in the ice cream shop I manage.Bbq is so good I always get a pork ? sandwich ? and baked beans and sweet ? sauce best BBQ I have found in this area.Parking: Clean parking lot lots iof space right of hwy 98”
“I love Thai food and while traveling I always try different Thai restaurants but this place was one of the best. I got yellow curry add red bell peppers that was so good. I also got the bang bang shrimp and that’s what I just loved.”
“Better than cowhead! Sax grille has great buns, great beef, great fries and the best part is that it doesn’t leave me feeling terrible like some other burger joints around the area. Price is the cherry on top!”
“Update #2 - staff here efficiently turn over tables without making you feel rushed. Can now also recommend the poke bowl and the Good Life sushi roll - YUM!Update- we came back with more people! Can now also recommend the teriyaki scallops! The garlic chili edamame were a bit bland, but everything else was exceptional!Original review: I am so glad my daughter wanted sushi - we love to find new places in FWB! We were seated with no wait on a Thursday night, and parking was ample. The food at Soi was fresh and delicious - we particularly love the gyoza, steamed but lightly pan seared and crispy on the bottom. The Jonesin roll was my favorite (and the wasabi tobiko was amazing), but we also loved the Mango Tango and the Cucumber wrap Kawaii. We didn't have the sashimi, but it was so pretty I asked the people next to us if I could snap a picture! Service was fast, attentive, and cheerful. We will be back, probably later this week!”
“Easily the best coffee shop/café in the area, and I’ve tried all of them! My go-to order, the Vanilla Latte with almond milk, is a standout for its perfect balance—not too strong or too sweet. It pairs well with the breakfast sandwich: bacon, egg, & cheese on a freshly-baked croissant. You can really taste the quality and freshness, setting it apart from the rest. The atmosphere here is unmatched—offering a spacious interior with ample seating and plenty of power outlets, making it an ideal spot for work or study. The vibe is just right for productivity or relaxing with a good book and your favorite drink.”
“If you haven't been here, you are missing out. The staff is great, the food is amazing. The most genuine Hawaiian food in the panhandle. Hands down!I came through this evening to get me and my wife dinner, and was chatting with the owner. I am from Kaneohe, and we talked about that a bit. I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for the treat. It means so much. You guys are the best. If I could give 10 stars I would.Ono Grindz ?!!!! Do not think about it, just go. You will not regret it!”
“This place is great!! We had soft crabs, potato salad, and greens. My husband also had a side of gumbo. Everything was fantastic!!!!!!! The young lady at the register was so helpful! She gave us suggestions., boy am I glad we went with her suggestions!! We will definitely be back. We want to try the fried oysters next time.Parking: Easy parking.”
“Wow, so glad I discovered this place on TDY here. At first I thought it was a lie but you have to go through the fitness center building to find it tucked away. My açaí bowl was amazing and the wraps my coworkers ordered smelled and looked fantastic and they loved it too. Only downside was nowhere to sit and eat, so we went to the bowling alley across the street to eat inside but they made us eat outside.”
