“I had the best Mexican food ever. The food was amazing the menu had lots of options, I highly recommend the California burrito. The service was fast and efficient. Our waiter Nikida was super helpful. I would highly recommended this to anyone who likes Mexican food. The food portions are a little big.Vegetarian options: They are very flexible in the meat or veggie options.“
“Delicious empanadas made with high quality ingredients from great people who care about their customers. ?❤️Vegetarian options: Veggie empanadasKid-friendliness: Family friendly place, kids enjoyed itWheelchair accessibility: Ground level“
“Had a very tasty Grande Grilled Chicken Burrito that was large enough for two (but so good I scarfed it all down). Sat at the bar with a few friends and we served chips and salsa and that too was very good. I requested a more spicy salsa and they complied - it was fantastic! Topped it off with a very good Texas Margarita and came away with a fantastic Mexican restaurant experience that I will definitely look forward to repeating. I highly recommend it!“
“My daughter and I like to grab lunch here when possible. The staff has always been in point and friendly. Food comes reasonably quick for lunch and I have been extremely happy with both the burrito and fajitas. My daughter loves one of the chicken and cheese dishes and I have tried it and it's been really good. We definitely plan to go back and the prices are a good value.“
“I absolutely love this place. I could literally come in the morning for backwater breakfast, then go directly next-door to salsas for some awesome chips and queso, empanadas, burritos, tacos, and chips and salsa. Every time I come in this place, everyone is so kind, sometimes the food takes little longer than expected, but it is 1000% worth of weight. I definitely recommend this place and 100% recommend the chips and guac appetizer and the queso shrimp enchiladas for entrée. I also recommend the margaritas. They are very strong definitely worth the price. Overall, this place is better than every other Mexican restaurant in Brevard county. I will be coming back weekly!!!!“
“Love the Chili Colorado (with corn tortillas)! We get it take-out, just fits us better & how we roll. IDK how they could amp up the in-house experience to tempt us back to sit-down-dine...one of life's great mysteries. Key is, the fabulous taste experience & food quality!“
“We’d meant to try Flying Burro for a long time after hearing only good things. Finally tried it out for lunch. We were pleasantly greeted, order was taken quickly, and food arrived promptly. All was correctly prepared (I ordered my huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs instead of fried which they seemed happy to do). Everything looked great and was delicious. Looking at my companions gooey quesadilla, I wanted to grab a triangle, but was too full. They have a set special each day of the week, but prices were very reasonable. We’re so happy to have found a new “go to.” Great job!“
“I didn't know until today that I could get wonderful street tacos close to my work. I tried carne asada and pollo. So good. And because I'm something of a snoop I poked my head into the truck to take a look around. Absolutely spotless. Cleaner than any restaurant I've ever seen. Shiny steel everywhere. I will be getting lunch here every week for sure.“
“The Habanero Grill 1851 Palm Bay Rd NE Suite 2, Palm Bay, FL 32905 4.5 Stars The one thing you rarely see in a "Mexican" restaurant in the good old US of A is a personage from Mexico. According to a Pew Research Study, most of you, except for college or military service, would find this extremely surprising, as 57% of us have never left our home state. However, those who travel know this is because your local "Mexican" restaurant is Tex-Mex at best and so far from a real representation of the gastronomical delights originating in Mexico as to be unrecognizable as such. Not so for The Habanero Grill. This place was packed with people from Mexico. Having never experienced this, my guest and I paused upon entering. Maria, the worldly-wise owner, greeted us and immediately put us at ease with her understanding of the English language. My dining partner spoke Spanish, which was a plus but not a requirement by a long shot. When in doubt, nod, smile, and point! Having only read about the Mexican delicacy of an authentic Mole sauce, I ordered the Mole chicken along with some Carne asada and Huevos chorizo. With our order in, we sat back, took in a friendly, rousing atmosphere, snapped a few pictures, and thought of setting up a game of bumblepuppy on a napkin to pass the time when our food arrived. Just take a peek at those pictures, people! The plates are loaded with scrumptious-looking grub if there ever was any. If it tasted half as good as it looked and smelled, this would be one hell of a bang for your buck. First up on my ever-critical palate was the dish I had never tried, the Chicken Mole. Generally speaking, a mole sauce will contain fruits, nuts, chili peppers, and spices like black pepper, cinnamon, cumin, and even dark chocolate. I also heard that in some parts of Mexico, it is made with fresh chicken blood from that night's dinner, but this is unverified. The classic mole is known as mole poblano and is dark red or brown and served over meat. Based on the color, this was the variety I was served. The plate consisted of a leg/thigh piece slathered in the mole. The chicken was cooked to a perfect doneness, and my first foray into mole was a foodie's delight! What a sauce! The complexity yet melding of the spice combination set my taste buds to dancing. As hard as it was to stop eating this otherworldly sauce, I had a job to perform. Moving on to the Carne Asada. This dish was spot on. The meat may have been just a tad overdone, the reason for the 1/2 star loss on the rating, but the flavors were outstanding, and I had a severe fiesta going on in my mouth while still having one more dish to sample! The last dish to grace my palate today was the Huevos chorizo. I absolutely love a good chorizo. Combine that with perfectly cooked eggs, some rice and beans, and I am there. The chorizo was magnificent, just superbly seasoned. I don't know where they get it, but I will ask next time. The eggs were perfect, and the sides were excellent. I would gladly eat here once a week. The Big Boy says, "Winner, winner, mole dinner!"“
“The Deconstructed Elote is a must try and the pretzels and queso were a big hit.. The food was good and we enjoyed it overall. Sitting out on the patio was a great choice for a sunny Saturday afternoon. Service was very quick and attentive.“
“Love this place. Been there twice and each time was great. Tacos have good chat. Flavor. And tortillas are great. I’m not a huge corn guy but the corn tortillas are good. Very fairly priced and friendly staff. Will be back often. Oh and the salsa is tasty both red and “
“Love this food truck! We use to go across the street and they’re good too, but you can’t beat the flavor here!!! Their house made salsas are delicious as well! I get the burrito, add chicken, my husband gets the tacos , Birria tacos are good too, tamales! Everything is always hot and fresh and it’s run by really nice people! They even have a cute seating area!“
“If the affordable prices don't make this your new favorite place for Mexican food, then the more then enough portions and authentic flavor are sure to make you a regular customer...Of course, I order Carne Asada that came with a generous size steak with grilled onions, seasoned and cooked to perfection paired with beans(no beans for me) and arroz con ganduele (yellow rice with chic peas) . They did not disappoint me with my favorite traditional Spanish dish. The menu has many options if you are looking for traditional Spanish food. The store also stands as a Spanish grocery. I like to buy Mexican spicy tamarind candy called Pelón and the lollipops that are also spicy sweetOne of my favorite places“
“Ordered through Uber Eats and I must say this food is so good. As close to authentic as it comes and best I've had since living in Florida. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Best burrito hands down. Thank you so much for the great food. My son and I are beyond full and pleased. Will definitely be coming back whether through orders or in house.“
“It was our first time. We thought the food was delicious the service was great the workers were fun. My beautiful wife and I had a wonderful time there's a lot of different varieties of protein and excellent array of flavored sauces. Would highly recommend.“
“We just can't get enough of this place! This time I had the 4 enchilada special. This was one refried bean, one chicken, one ground beef, and one cheese enchilada all topped with a red sauce, tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream. Had to take half of them home! My husband stuck with his steak fajita nachos which are without a doubt one of the best things on the menu. The chips were warm and fresh as were the salsa and queso. This is totally becoming a regular eatery for us!“
“These guys are awesome! The food is always delicious and the drinks are not only affordable but delicious. They have a 2 for 1 special that rocks! We try to order something different each time we come. The Grand Chef Platter is a great combination that is enough for 2. The Mexican tacos are delicious. You have to try the Queso Burrito - cheesy goodness!!! The staff if friendly and professional - always smiling!! This is our go-to spot.“
“My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Munchies En Ruedas, and it was a delightful experience. We tried their chicken, beef, and pork tacos, and they were all bursting with flavor - a true taco lover’s dream! It’s not just the tasty tacos; it’s also the convenience. Finding this food truck at the Melbourne Sam’s Club on Fridays, Saturdays (11-8), and Sundays (11-6) is a treat. And if that’s not enough, they offer glass bottles of Coke to complement your meal. The friendly staff and delicious food make Munchies En Ruedas a must-visit for any foodie in the area!Dietary restrictions: GF Corn tortillasParking: Sams club parking lot.“
“We love dining at this restaurant, the service can be iffy once in a while! I love the steak fajitas for 2! As well I love that they have 2 for $8 till 7PM at night! Tonight we went and were pleasantly surprised at the Chocolate Chimichangas we usually have, it was presented on a cheese plate, what a nice surprise! We always enjoy our visits and now that we know the manager's name, the husband is giggling about it all the time! If you get a chance visit and enjoy the Margarita flight they have!Vegetarian options: During lenet I do the spinach enchilada and the taco salad and have them up rancho beans in it besides meat etc.Kid-friendliness: We order a bean and cheese burrito ala carte with no sides and plain no sauce on it when the tween is with us .“
“Second time to this restaurant and loved it even more!!! My son had the Carne Asada tacos and I have the Burrito California . The chicken in the burrito was incredibly delicious seasoned perfectly, and guacamole was tops!! Definitely will be going back“
“A hidden gem in an area where it's hard to find good food. Very pretty inside with beautiful tables. Service was great but slow, which wasn't a big deal considering the foot traffic after we got our meals. I had a fajita which had some of the most tender steak I've had in a fajita or burrito. Could've used more flavor on the steak but that's just nit picking. Plenty of food on the plate (refried beans, guac, seasoned rice, sour cream) as well which was all great and the price wasn't bad as the lunch special. The fried Ice cream was amazing, especially since it was only 4.95! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning.“
“I heard this place was good but didn’t believe it!!! Went there today for lunch and so was completely blown away!!!! I highly recommend going here. I definitely will be going back for dinner and drinks!!! The restaurant is very clean and roomy!!! A lot of places have the seating area on top of each other. This wasn’t the case here. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our waiter’s name started with a G I think it was Gerardo but I’m not sure. Super friendly very very helpful and gave an awesome recommendation!!!!! I got the shrimp chimi and I ate the whole thing!!! It was so big and delicious. I am definitely going back to get a ground beef one because I tasted my friend’s and it was amazing!!“
“WOULD 100% GO BACK FOR THE SERVICE ALONE. First time trying El Chico, and I was satisfied! I had the great privilege to have Kevin H. be my server. I would have thought he was a 5 year veteran server at this location. To my surprise, when I spoke to the manager, it turns out Kevin was JUST out of training. In my opinion, he was the embodiment of everything that you want your server to be.Food was good, restaurant was very cute and decorated from top to bottom. I had a very good experience.Kevin 10/10“
“Wonderful dinner! Shrimp Tacos, half order of Nachos, and Spinach Quesadilla were all hot, fresh, and flavorful. Upbeat, friendly service. Lively, clean atmosphere.Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: I saw several children and the servers were attentive to their needs.Wheelchair accessibility: One level, wide aisles.“
“Fresh made margaritas and the best food I have had in months. We went early afternoon and it was a quiet atmosphere with extremely kid friendly staff. The chips are extra addicting and my 3 year old ate almost a whole order in his own.Kid-friendliness: Staff went out of their way to make sure the kids enjoyed themselves and even brought our little girl some orange slices.“
“First time here! Everything was so awesome! I had the Chicken Club Quesadilla, and added olives and Chipotle ranch dressing. It was so good! I love that all meals come with chips and the salsa bar. Service was quick and staff was working super hard and fast making orders, as well as keeping up with sweeping and wiping tables off in the dining area. Really impressed overall. Great first experience and I will be back!“
“I've been going to this place for years and love it, but this time it wasn't as great, my wife thought the server was rude. I didn't think much of it. We love the rice and beans. The new prices were penciled in, maybe time to print new menus.“
“Cozy family friendly atmosphere with good service and good servers Oscar,Tony and Leah! Been coming here for years and never disappoints us. Chips fresh with good margaritas and always has a good Cinco de mayo celebration. Definitely worth giving it a try, you will enjoy the good food.“
“I got a taco salad which was good. The wait staff could be better. $4.00 for a soda seems alittle high and the music in the restroom was loud enough to burst an eardrum! I might go back if I've got a craving cause the food was good!Parking: You're in a shopping center so it's FCFS“
“The gentleman that assisted us was excellent, he really knows how to put love into everything he does, and definitely works hard to provide a top notch experience for patrons! He definitely put heart and soul into the chicken quesadillas and chicken torta my partner and I had this afternoon. We were amazed and taken aback by how absolutely stellar and delicious the food was. Flavorful, fresh ingredients, and just an all around amazing experience. This place does not get enough love for its food and its service to the food industry. I will definitely stop by more often and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic quesadillas, cow tongue, carne asada, and Torta! You will not be disappointed!“
“Good sit down restaurant. Order at the counter and a staff member brings your food to your table. Food has good flavor. We've been to this location four times in the past 7 months. They don't always get the orders right the first or second time, but they are easy to ask for help, never experienced rude employees and the food is consistently good.“
“Great food great prices. Visited for late lunch. Ordered cheese dip covered Chimichanga w/ shredded beef. Very generous lunch portions. Salsa was fresh and very flavorful mild to hot in spice. Service was wonderful timely drink refills wonderful descriptions of menu foods with plates pictures. No guessing here. Highly recommend.“
“Chiwawa and Burritodillas are the way to go! They are not shy on the toppings at all. At least six ounces of shredded cheese is dumped first on the tortilla as the first step. Then they customize your bowl with all the toppings you want and add them to the cooking tortilla on the flat top grill. It comes out with a nice crisp outer shell and delicious abundance of toppings. The garlic Parmesan sauce adds a nice zing of flavor to top it off. The Chiwawa is a golden fried ball of fluffy white rice that is broken and then all the toppings you want added on top. This place is a new favorite.“
“UPDATE: Not the same as it used to be. Prices have gone up and menu has a more trendy vibe. Although it seems very popular now, it's not for me. Sad to see it go.I’ve been going there consistently since it first opened, about 17 years ago. You can’t get better food or atmosphere with the casual beach vibe. Super friendly staff, fast service, and amazingly low prices really put this place over the top.“
