The fried shrimp were excellent, and my friends call me Bubba when it comes to shrimp. The cheese grits were great, cole slaw too. The hush puppies tasted a bit off to me, maybe fried in the same fryer as fish? We need one of these stores in Manatee County, and sell shrimp in paper bags by the 1/2 and 1 pound. I grew up around shrimp houses where you could just grab a bag of shrimp and some cocktail sauce and cruise down the road. Great place to eat, nice employees.
Awesome place to eat, but not acceptable that a counter serve restaurant has a tip option that makes you navigate two prompts to skip. Tip screens like that take advantage of those with social anxiety and encourage a toxic “tip everywhere” culture. Why tip in fast food?Now that’s out of the way, the food is always delicious. I highly recommend the Po’Boy - get the Bam sauce and the hush puppies. The restaurant is clean and the food always comes out quickly.
