Esta lugar es "la bomba". I'm rather particular about Mexican food because I grew up on the border in El Paso, Texas. The first thing you'll notice about this restaurant is the authentic tostadas - they are thick pieces of corn tortilla, fresh and warm.I've been eating mostly vegetarian lately, so the sopes with roasted vegetables were perfect. The Food here is Authentic the tortillas are homemade and the chips too! Rice and whole pinto beans were seasoned perfectly! El fogoncito has great food. The service is great! We go with our kids often. Word of caution: if you have "sensitive to fear kids" their decorations tend to be frightening to my kids. But that's all. Everything else is amazing!
