“Cool place w excellent food! We had the Beef Stroganoff & it was delicious. Our friend had the Yellow Tail & he said it was amazing. Don"t skip dessert!Waiter was attentive & had a nice visit w the owner. Put this down as a must try on your trip to Key West!”
“We used to be patrons of Kaya’s at their former location, and miss them immensely. Our first trip to their KW location and we are happy to see the same faces in charge (after years, no less) with the same level of energy and openness, and also very happy to find the quality of the food has been retained and even refined. Excellent cuisine and a good value, and their new location has several different spaces from a bar to outside courtyards so you can find an ambiance that suits you. Excellent happy hour also available 4-6 I believe, with half price apps and drinks. We had their famous (to us) jerk wings and they are awesome, and coconut shrimp were also meaty and tasty and so much flavor added by way of a tasty side sauce. We shared fish tacos as the main and they were excellent, both the fish and the accompaniments in the taco. We never get dessert but sprung for an ice cream pie called the Hulu Girl, it disappeared in a quiet frenzy (didn’t want the ice cream to melt!). Drinks were reasonable and very varied. Highly recommend and I hope we can still get a seat next time! We went on a very windy weekday at around 5:30. Kudos Kaya Island Eats, so happy for you!”
“Incredible dining experience! Service was on point, thanks to our server, Wilson. We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 entrees and 3 desserts. Everything was paced out perfectly. The food was phenomenal! Crab “cakes”, scallops (with possibly the best pork belly I’ve had), and bisque to start. Miso glazed grouper and veal chop for entree’s and a mix of desserts. Everything was remarkable. My compliments to Chef Laurence.”
“We went for lunch. I had the Swiss cheese burger. It was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. But the star of the show was AARON our server! He was laid back and easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the food and answered our questions. He even managed to quiet some noisy work that was getting in the way of our ordering! Overall, a lovely experience.”

“By far the best meal we had in Key West! Incredible atmosphere in the courtyard with live music was just the icing on the cake, so to speak! Can't wait to get back!”
“If you're looking for a very good lobster roll, this is a good place to go and you also gotta get the sweet potato fries with it. It's very delicious and will crave your hunger!!!”
“What a great place! All around great experiment! Be sure to ask for Phillip - he is as our bartender and server as we sat at a high top in the bar area. Great martinis. Delicious stone carb followed with surf and turf and finished with the banana nut bread pudding! Can’t wait to go back on our next trip to Key West!”

“Best dishes during our stay - New York Strip Steak ?, Dark Chocolate Tres Leche, Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Almond Milk & Chia Seed Pudding. However, avoid the Toasted Coconut-Key Lime Bread (so dry), Crispy Chicken Cheddar Waffle (spicy with mediocre flavor). Service here is great. ? View of the water is nice (room views are better ).”
“The food is awesome. We had octopus and calamari as a starter which was already filling. As a main course, filet mignon and fettucine. Both super tasty and great quality. Last but not least, the key lime tart. But there was absolutely nothing to complain about. We decided to make a reservation at very short notice and only got a seat at the counter, but it was super comfortable. Sylvia our bar tender was super super friendly and served excellently. A more than successful evening with an excellent meal. Danger! Very modern and not Key West style. If you're looking for something like that, you shouldn't go here, but if you're looking for great quality, this is the place for you.”

“My husband and I were on a cruise and we stopped in Key West. Found this little jem. Amazing coffee!! We bought a bag to take home. I couldn't wait to get back and brew a pot!”
“Great coffee and donuts. We had two cafe cubano and shared 4 donuts. Key lime, passion fruit cheesecake, coconut creme, hazelnut brown sugar. The coconut creme was our favorite! They're small to medium sized donuts. It gets busy so go early to avoid the line! The place itself has indoor seating but many people sit along the sidewalk outdoors.”
“Tried the lobster roll. It was fabulous, but it was one slice of buttered toasted bread with Lobster meat on it, rolled up like a hot dog. The taste was amazing, but so small for $32. Just a very expensive snack. I feel it was way too overpriced.”
“Our absolute favorite sub, sandwich, and gourmet cupcake place in Key West.. Hands down!! This local spot is a must visit and prepare your HUNGER because these massive subs are sure to fill you up! ALSO MUST save room for a mouth watering cupcake afterwards! As you can see from the pictures we visit this spot as our first, last, and in between our many trips to KW. We order and take these on our boat and beach trips and even fly them home to our kids per their request. We have tried every single sub in this place and a hard time deciding on a Favorite. I personally am a pastrami snob and have to order that sandwich at least once and my husband is obsessed with the Balboa their signature sub! You really cannot go wrong. The owners are two of the most hard working individuals and make sure your stomach is satisfied as well as your sweet tooth. They strive for perfection when it comes to an amazing lunch spot and never disappoint. If you have one day in KW on a cruise stop or spending some quality time checking out the island on vacation or boat outing DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP HERE!!!!”
“Had to come back a second day on my visit, food was fabulous with many of my favorite choices. Staff is pleasantly friendly with good vibes and offering friendly advice. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit. Recommend giving it a try you’ll enjoy!Vegetarian options: Definitely options available”
“I have been wanting to try this place out. Got the brisket, mac & cheese, and cornbread. Everything was delicious! Did not disappoint! The views are beautiful, and I had Coke in a bottle! Something I haven’t had in years! I loved it!”
“You know a place is legit when it serves beverages in old plastic glasses, has actual hot sauce options, and the walls are wood paneling that looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's.Our portions gave us leftovers for a couple days, and the beef and pork were both incredibly flavorful and tender. Genuinely the best meal we had on Key West.”
“The most delicious key lime pie I have ever had. Single slices make this a perfect treat any time of day. They also sell Byrd's cookies which are delicious. Quick, friendly service.”
“If you're looking for a very good lobster roll, this is a good place to go and you also gotta get the sweet potato fries with it. It's very delicious and will crave your hunger!!!”
“You should go for breakfast and again for lunch! Cuban coffee is delicious and chorizo breakfast tacos are excellent only if 3 handmade chorizo tacos with handmade salsa verde sounds good…It’s definitely delicious! Cuban sandwich also excellent and highly recommend !! Must try if you’re anywhere nearby!!!”
“We tried a bit of everything. Simply amazing. Best Italian we have had in a long time. Try the meatballs!!!!Rob was a great server, Angelo and his partner were very friendly and hands on owners. Great small feel atmosphere and very reasonable prices.”
“Best food I had in Key West! Was not even close. Spent 4 days there and I can say by far this was the best meal I had. We actually made plans to go back our last day because it was so good.Do not be thrown off by the fact that it's basically in an ally. The vibes are hole-in-the-wall and it is.Make sure to stop here! (And get the hot sauce)”
“The person who helped with check-in at our resort mentioned this place, so we decided to give it a try for our last evening. So glad we did! We tried 4 different plates and they were all delicious.”
“I got the key west lobster roll. It had huge chunks of lobster and tasted fresh. It was big enough to be filling but too big so I wasn't able to finish it. It's $30 and comparing that to another $30 dish I don't know if I'd say it's worth that price. However, it's worth trying once. It's a small place, so there's not a lot of sitting room. However, you can take your sandwich to go and eat near or on the beach.Note: they don't take apple/google pay”

“Such places are called democratic - simple tables, a simple menu of cocktails, beer and snacks to go with it.The tables are quite crowded - that's why I'm only giving them a four. But the waves are splashing nearby. Young but polite, efficient waiters. I was served by Aubrey M., who looked like a schoolgirl. Disputed order delivery, dirty plates on the table do not linger. It doesn’t push you with directions and recommendations - I had a pleasant time sitting by the ocean in the morning with a beer and snacks.I ordered beer and conch friters - they were not overcooked, served hot and juicy. This is a coastal cafe and I rate it exactly as a coastal cafe.I liked it here and will come back here again.Ps: I'm backOn my second run, I drank Sunset Tequila and ate tuna poke cups. The drink is soft - it doesn't hurt your brain. Long drink.Tuna initially raised concerns - it is a fish of cold waters and for a coastal cafe, getting tuna with good eyes and gills and cutting it is expensive. However, the fears were in vain - the tuna, although clearly frozen upon delivery (after all, the tropics, not Alaska), was good. No urges. The tuna sauce is unexpectedly balanced for a cafe - the taste of mayonnaise is not felt at all and perfectly complements the appetizer. The cups are naturally banana cups, not overcooked - I actually liked them and went great with the cocktail. It was a great morning: a view of the emerald ocean at my feet, a soft cocktail (beer if desired), and wonderful snacks to go with it at an affordable price by the standards of this island. It's totally worth it.I recommend.”

“This is our first time eating here since last March and the food is even better than the first time. The owners are great and now they serve breakfast with home-made pastries! I’ll be back in the morning.”
“I am a sucker for a good croissant sandwich and this place did not disappoint. The croissant was sizeable and soft, the eggs were made fantastic, the bacon wasn't too hard or too soft. Just all around perfection. The key lime pie French toast blew my friends socks off, picture included which could be confused as art haha. Mimosas were yummy and the staff was friendly and attentive!”
“Great gem in Key West! The salad was delicious, really know-how behind it and quality food. I loved. Nice atmosphere. Rare to eat so healthy in the US. Very nice quantity. I recommend !”
“Great atmosphere for outdoor sitting and people watching. It wasn’t loud so conversation was flowing. Good local beer on tap. Enjoyed the ribs. Fries were good too.”
“We had a great lunch here! It was just coming out of a rush of people when we arrived. They sat us at a table and then we had to wait about 10 minutes before we went up to ask for menus. A couple after us had service right away, which was a little frustrating. The serves were all nice however. The food was pretty decent, it was a good sized portion. Typical key west prices but it was a good meal. They also have a very cute dog there.”

“We were looking for an Italian restaurant and found a great place. In addition to the great homemade pasta, we had a very nice conversation with the Italian hosts. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant.”
“After making our reservation for the wrong day we showed up to no table for us. We were graciously offered bar seating and it actually turned out better than table service. This meal was far and away the best meal we had during our week in Key West. From the appetizer to the entree to the desert to the wine recommendation, everything was spectacular. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was top notch. Just a spectacular and memorable meal.”

“Great food, very attentive service. Very laid back atmosphere - its off the beaten path enough that we had a calm enjoyable dinner on st. Patricks day. Large and diverse menu!”
“Super cute restaurant with kind, helpful staff. Their oysters are wonderful, mozzarella sticks are the best we’ve ever had and their Key lime Cartel drink is yummy!! The fish entrees were good and creative but a bit spendy for what they are (i.e. fish n chips $35).”
“A fantastic shrimp scampi I will never forget. Everything about Sole was equally beautiful and delicious. The outdoor seating we had was charming and majestic with a very classy appeal. It gave off an intimate vibe despite the amount of seating. My beef carpaccio had a thinly cut freshness that was a good teaser for the rest of my meal. My highlight was my shrimp scampi that I couldn't give enough praise for. I'd go back here just to order this again. The noodles absorbed the sum of its parts so well with the oil and sauce. I don't know how else to describe how it tasted so good. I really enjoyed the key lime pie as well. I found torching the cream on top slightly unnecessary, the cake itself along with the graham cracker crust more than made up for it (which honestly didn't really need to be made up for.) The staff was exceptional as well. We didn't have to wait long for service and everything came as expected. They gave us good wine recommendations as well.”
“OMG, I live in Naples but we made a trip to the Keys. I had the best fish sandwich of my life and I’m 72. If you go please try the fish and the fries. Very good service, so glad my daughter found this place, Bravo!”
“I didn't like the service because the waitress didn't try to help us with some issues and made drama over trifles. My son is diabetic and I needed to know either the amount of carbohydrates in a serving or the amount of the food itself that contains carbohydrates. for him it was French fries. to which she replied that they don't have information about carbohydrates and there are no scales to weigh food either. in other restaurants this has never been a problem And the drama was that I changed the order, but this happened almost immediately after the order. I don't see a problem changing the order if it hasn't even started to be prepared yet. Overall the food was delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. only the fries were so generously sprinkled with salt that they had to be scraped off. otherwise it was impossible to eat”
“Awesome dinner The lobster and shrimp scampi special was delicious. We always ask for Katherine as our waitress if she is working. She is a delight. Knowledgeable about the food and options”
“We stumbled to this restaurant our first night at Key West and lingered by the doorstep because of the nice jazz playing. When we walked up to the restaurant, the manager Kim was very nice and helpful to our situation and instantly got us handled. There was one hostess that didn't seem welcoming; the other one that seated us was genuinely sweet and spoke to us with care. We sat outside during the evening and it was perfect! The guy that set up our table was wonderful and spoke to us about his life as well, and it made us feel extra comfortable with our choice of dine in. DD was our server and she made sure our food was great, to which my boyfriend confirmed that this was the best dinner he had ever had. He's not a fan of oysters, and when he got a taste of the oysters I ordered, it took him an entire week to stop talking about them. I ordered a grouper, and he did the Surf & Turf. I thought I would be able to finish the whole thing as it looked delicate, but with the Moscow mules (also phenomenal) the soft bread, and the oysters beforehand, I was struggling to walk back to our shuttle. The jazz, the clean restrooms, and the ambiance of the whole restaurant made my first night on our vacation our best night(and the vacation was perfect!). Much gratitude to Kim, to DD, and everyone else that I forgot the names of because of the Moscow Mules. I would come back in an instant!”
“Famished after a lengthy drive to Key West, we found this hole in the wall cafe for lunch. Street parkings were available around the cafe. While we waited for our order of Cuban Mix sandwich, steak quesadillas and tamarind Jarritos, we were greeted and entertained by couple cafe pet chickens. I preferred the Cuban Mix sandwich (4/5) over the steak quesadillas (3.5/5, slightly greasy but good flavor). Overall, not the best Cuban sandwich on the Florida Keys, but very solid food for Key West and price point seems reasonable for the more touristy areas.”
“It was a great atmosphere food was delicious staff was incredibly friendly. I thought it was a little pricey but I guess given the fact that you are in Key West probably not so much. But it was a great experience ”
“Fresh seafood with top notch gourmet preparation and presentation. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy this out of the way recommendation from our resort concierge. We enjoyed a wide selection of seafood prepared in unique ways across a number of courses. Our server was pleasant if just a bit inattentive but the restaurant was full for our entire stay so they may have just been understaffed. Judging by the smiles and empty plates at tables around us it seemed everyone was well enjoying their meals as well. Good mix of young and middle aged couples as well as younger folks starting their nights out with appetizers and drinks from a great cocktail collection. Our middle school aged children really enjoyed the selection as well.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for GF”
“China Garden is great! The food was delicious. Friendly staff. The interior was decorated well. The service was quick. Without doubt worth going to! Have a great day!?❤️”
“The food was delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere was quite & beautiful with lots of plants ? to surround you as you enjoy some great coffee and savory food.”
“The worlds smallest bar! First learning about this. Location on a documentary, we had to see it for ourselves! This tiny bar boasts Big crowds! Unique thrill seekers looking for "something different".Friendly servers and always cold drinks ?”
“Went with friends for an afternoon bite before their flight and it was perfect. Had the grouper shrimp cakes as an appetizer for the 4 of us then individual hamburgers for lunch. Had a wonderful young lady make us a ‘Painkiller’ and a Golden Margarita that was delicious. Domestic beer only $5, a true find on KW. Between the view, the vibe and the prices you can’t go wrong.”

“I really liked the place. A great experience. The service is great, all the staff very friendly. I will be back.Rooms: We stayed in an apartment independent of the house. With two bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen.Everything was impeccable. Cleaning, all the details. I recommend it 100%”
“What a way to cap off an incredible weekend! Met some Seamen, bartered some beer, brought incredible Indian food. Overall, great experience. It is standing room only, but totally ADA friendly!”
“I booked this hotel for my daughter and friends. They had nothing but praise for the property. It was clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. If they get a chance to re-visit Key West, they expressed that they will re-book the same place.”
“Dustin was our serve and he was amazing. Best service on the island. Pleasant, fun, and accommodating. If we are here the first day for breakfast we would have went back every morning and asked for him.”
“Mid afternoon visit, not busy. Great service, great food. Atmosphere was what you would expect from an IHop. Cafe, clean, smells of bacon, coffee, and waffles. It was really cold inside, but they turned the thermostat up and moved people to less drafty tables. Awesome service.”

Takeout Restaurants
“The breakfast spot was recommended by staff at our resort. It was delicious! I tried the seafood omelette. My bf had the inside out eggs Benedict. Both were great. If I had to choose one, his was better. Next time I'd get the hollandaise sauce as a side with my omelette.”
“Superb coffee roasted and prepared by a couple with a passion for coffee. Highly knowledgeable of both the coffee origin and farmer as well as preparation. Excellent single origin Brazilian coffee brewed in a French press was the perfect start to a Key West day!”
“## The Breakfast Club, Too: Key West's Breakfast Dream Team!Forget the ordinary breakfast routine! The Breakfast Club, Too, in Key West completely transformed our mornings. This place isn't just about food (although that's amazing too!), it's a full-on experience.First off, the creativity on the menu is unreal. We tried the [mention a specific dish you enjoyed, e.g., Lobster Benedict] and it was an absolute explosion of flavor. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the portions are perfect to fuel your day of exploring Key West. But what truly sets The Breakfast Club apart is the incredible staff. We were lucky enough to be served by Sam?, who was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They even offered suggestions for things to do around town based on our interests.Let's not forget the legendary Bloody Marys! With so many different varieties, there's a perfect option for everyone. It's definitely become our go-to spot for breakfast in Key West, and we can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious creations. Highly recommend!”
“So glad we finally tried this spot. Not sure if things have changed ever since they aired on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Didn't get to see the owners. Can you ever say no to a lot of meat? Pictured here is an order of (2) Korean BBQ Tacos, loaded with meat. Korean BBQ flavor was delicious and Sriracha wasn't too much. Order comes with a bag of Zippy's chips. Also ordered their Kogi Dog which also was a huge portion with plenty of kim chi and sauce to cover each bite. Both orders are definitely worth every penny.”
“I found Mr. Z’s on a recommendation website for best food in Key West and wasn’t disappointed. We got the Philly Cheesesteak and it was fantastic. The meat was very tender and the cheese complimented it. The roll kept everything together and was soft.Overall great food and atmosphere here. It’s small so only a few people can eat inside. The guys running the show were cool and had MLB playing, can’t beat it!”
“We needed a quick stop for breakfast on way out of town and this gem did not disappoint. Service was top notch- like a fancy restaurant, seriously. Food suggestions were perfect and Food came right off the grill, piping hot within 5 minutes from ordering. We had the sweet crepe with eggs, sausage and mozzarella cheese; and the strawberry banana crepe with whip cream. Both ah-mazing. Don't be fooled because it is in a strip mall... this place is divine.”

“Old school vibe with the Man himself at the helm in the kitchen, we had a party of 6 unannounced, and we were HUNGRY...Gents handled our orders without issue and even had Mama or Auntie come in for backup and IT WAS DELICIOUS. Expect us back again, Mo...?? ?”
“Best mojitos I’ve ever had! The lobster roll and Cuban sandwich are both incredible with a delicious sauce on the side. Dont leave without trying their Cuban ice cream! Must have! Owner is super friendly and will most certainly be back!”
“I really appreciate stopping by here! A real good Cubano Mix sandwich. The stuff was efficient. From order to holding the food in my hand, maybe five minutes. I was here at noon weekdays. The sandwich is well made : Cuban white bread, some kind of whip, onions, lettuce, tomatoe, meet, a slice of beef (that one could have been thicker). The little smile would have been appreciated. 10$ tax included (finally no coins in change!).Thank you for this experience. I totally recommend.”
“I’m sure this place isn’t known for its veggie burgers, and the black bean burger i had was nothing special. Loved the atmosphere, and loved that they gave us free bananas with our food. Great prices!”
“Cute little place. Ate breakfast there. Just a short walk from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Got tired of the line there and walked down the street and found this little gem.”
“Cute little spot, it looks like a permanently set up ice cream truck. The colors are welcoming & cute little seating area. The only con is that cones are not available but the soft serve ice cream is still tasty in a cup.”
“This was recommended to us by someone we met there on Duval and he was spot on. This place had some great food. Great spot on the marina with a ton of beautiful boats to look at. I also have to add that every server and bartender in here was just beautiful. A great spot for dinner of lunch any day of the week. Will definitely return.”
“When I was a kid, my dad was in the military and we lived for a short time in Italy. While there, I had the best pizza I ever had in my life. I have been chasing that high for over 30 years. The pizza at Onlywood definitely scratches that itch for me. It is authentic, so delicious, and brings back great memories. And the restaurant (easy to miss since it is down an alley off of Duval) is so charming. I also recommend the homemade Sangria…very refreshing. Please give this place a try.”

“Four different locals told us about Two Friends Happy Hour Special and told us to get the steamed shrimp. We had been to some of the finest restaurants on the island, none compared to the sweet shrimp we had here and during happy hour it's half priced!! Wish we had known from day 1! This would have been the only place we ate during our whole trip! Gotta check them out!!!”

“Delicious DQ treats in a walk up stand. Can get crowded at times.Parking: Plenty of parking available in their lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for handicapped.”
“Excellent sandwiches, made to order, and they will let you customize them (I like extra meat). The ice cream is top notch, you don't expect good ice cream at a "fast food" place like this, but they have it. Family owned, they recognize their regular customers and you are always greeted with a smile when you walk in, whether or not you are a regular. I highly recommend.”
“Our room was not ready because we flew in early and decided on this amazing place to eat. The staff was kind, french and provided great service. I had a savory crepe with brie and oh who cares.....it had brie....my comrades had sweet ones and gave me a bight of them and they were great and I had a wonderful mimosa. No better way to start our time in Key West.”
“The people that work there are super awesome and accommodating. I’m very picky about my pizza and they make it perfect every time. They always leave off the black olives off just for ”
“Service was lacking. Nobody spoke English. I wasn't asking for anything complicated. I had to download a picture on my phone so they could see what I wanted then charged me a second time for the wrong item. Must have been a bad day, others were there waiting and left without getting their food. Food tasted good when we finally got what we ordered.”
“It is Key West so there are many awesome local eateries. If you just want fast food this is a good place. This Wendy’s has the full menu unlike the other location in old town near the bars.”
“Watched English kids on Facebook trying the classic chicken sandwich, they were blown away so I decided I had to try one again, it did not disappoint. Shout out to the guy taking the order, so friendly and polite!!”
“Best coffee I've have from Dunkin. My hubby and I were visiting KW. I made an online order. I tweaked the order to add more coconut and mocha. My coffee tasted like a liquid Almond candy bar. So delicious. Thank you!”
“The customer service is absolutely amazing. I mean they are so sweet and so kind and I appreciate everything they did from the interaction from taking my order to receiving my order was absolutely amazing. I definitely will come back for not only the food, but for the customer service they are one of the best on the whole island when it comes to fast food, they truly treat their customers with the upmost respect and I appreciate that so much”
“Awesome dinner The lobster and shrimp scampi special was delicious. We always ask for Katherine as our waitress if she is working. She is a delight. Knowledgeable about the food and options”
Cheap Eats
“A great selection of rums from many distilleries around the world. As a rum snob, I prefer my rum to taste like rum, not whiskey. If you are the same, then be sure to express that. Otherwise, this is a great little place for getting your rum fix.”
“Love this Key West treasure! Great live music and great drinks. We took our own chairs and sat out on the sidewalk to listen to the Beatles tribute band. Really enjoyed it!”
“Most friendly bar in Key West. Right away we became family with the bartender and fellow patrons that were drinking. Very cool place and every cooler people there. We were recommended by a local in Tavernier and so glad we went! Also very good food next door!”
“I had the Wasacaca Beef burger with the cilantro sauce on it and I could not put it down. It was so delicious. I wish I could eat burgers this good where I live.”
“Great spot with a huge variety of coffee drinks -- Turkish!! -- and treats. A great spot early in the morning before the crowds overwhelm that end of the island.”
“i make sure to come to dive bar shirt club every time I'm in key west simply for the food and Kip! he is an amazing bartender and really makes you feel at home. he is so personable and amazing. we love ”
“Little stand that is big on quality and flavor! I had a combo of mango sorbet and creamy, coconut ice cream. Oh my gosh, what a great combination! My partner had a chocolate milkshake - it had great texture and flavor. Give it a try!”
“This is most beautiful place to hangout, watch sunset, eat great food and experience amazing service. Special shout out to NATALIA ( server) who always greets with beautiful smile, positive , energetic , attentive and fast ”
“My wife and I wanted to do a bike ride on the Overseas Heritage Trail. The folks at Baby’s Coffee let us park our jeep there while we rode. After the ride we had great coffee and a pastry…along with friendly service. A must stop place.”
“We came visiting from the state of Maryland and found this gem! The food is fresh and delicious, We will definitely return again and again…Sincerely, Itzep Morales FAMILY”
“We had the pleasure to have breakfast twice while on vacation last week . Dennis the owner is incredible and staff is amazing! The food is delicious! Make sure you have a slice of his grandma’s 7 layer cake made with only 6 ingredients!! Will always make this stop while visiting Key West.”
“Fantastic food and super friendly service! Unassuming Cuban and Mexican food. No real dine-in tables but a couple of picnic tables outside. If you're looking for a delicious lunch spot try them out! Try the cuban burger all the way!! Yummy ”
“Best coffee i’ve ever tried in all the Keys! Cashier and barista Lucia was super friendly and kind. I had an amazing iced caramel latte with almond milk and a delicious key lime BLT made by Francisco! So good!!”
“This is a small shop along Duval that--surprise!--sells key lime products. They have a little outdoor back patio if you want to sit and eat there. Obviously, you can take your food to go, if you wish. The key lime pie was good. It's not as sweet as some places and you can definitely taste the tart key lime flavor, if that appeals to you. It had a good balance of sweet and tart. Nice enough shop and good pie.”
“How about to yums up on Mattheessen's! These cookies are soooo good. I got the snickerdoodle cookie and a chocolate milkshake. Both were amazing and I had to go back today. Slightly expensive but very good. Great service too! When in doubt, check it out!”
“Food was ok. Sushi was unlike any I've had before. Scallions in everything. A bit overbearing for my taste. Excellent service and nice restaurant. Take out available too. Must pay for street parking”
“Time and time again proprietor Mark Gambuzzo a al Ova Wine Shop literally "delivers" fine wine and especially champagne in & about the Key West. On two separate very special occasions I called the store to discuss champagne. Mark worked with me to ensure my selection. All of the bubbly delivered in style, beautifully wrapped with a gorgeous card. Can't wait to visit the shop in person - Votre Sante Kimberly NOTKim”
“Amazing place. Fritters were amazing. Just the right amount of spice. Service was great and friendly. On a cruise perfect for a break and relax while adventuring. I will be back.”

One Duval
“While the location and food was very good, our service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask other wait staff to get drink refills and our meal arrived to our table very late (thankfully it was hot, though)”
“We had a wonderful meal here a few days ago. I wish I would have gotten our server’s name (he shared it but I have an awful memory.) it was dark but I think he had reddish hair and a small frame. He was incredible! We made reservations for two but after we arrived and saw it wasn’t super busy (it was late Sunday night) we asked if we could add four more to our reservation. They were accommodating though in the end we didn’t need it. The service and grace they offered was wonderful. The patio was beautiful! The menu perfect.I had the grouper and it was a 10/10 and the mashed potatoes were divine. My partner had the bolognese and they too were happy.Would absolutely return!”

Seven Fish

The Roost
“We love coming here for cocktails... Beautiful bar, nice decor and very nice cocktail list. They serve wine and they sell bottles to go as well.Definitely worth the visit!”
“After swimming in the pool and feeling all icky and stuffing my mouth with constant seafood (it’s Key West, what else would I expect?). I wanted to eat something not involving seafood. Yes the name is of a cool sea creature but hey, might as well shoot my shot. I ordered the Gnnochi and my god, it was so good and the portion they give is insane especially with the price. It could feed like 2 adults. In my humbles opinion , if you’re is key west and tired of seafood or your children hate seafood, try this place out.Kid-friendliness: A Large variety of food to eat and they’re so good.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a pretty cool ramp!”

“Amazing food and drinks. We are from NJ. We need places like this in NJ/NY. Wish we could come back here. More places need to embrace vegetarianism and veganism.”
“FANTASTIC! We had 2 appetizers, 2 dinners (with left-overs for the next day) and if you haven't tried their chocolate cake, you should, even if you get it to go for later! So good!! Shout out for the zoodles too! Staff is also wonderful, and everyone is SO NICE!”
“Great experience with wonderfully nice staff. Perfect place to people watch on the porch, we had some quality wines and cheeses. Will visit every time we come back to Key West.”
“Very nice place and the waiter we had was super nice. Overall the food was good, but I'm a bit picky on italian and would have liked a sauce with a bit more flavor.”
“This was a unique experience in Key West. Menu is a surprise each night, but everyone can find something they will eat. Several meat and fish options for entrees. Food was incredible. For appetizers we had chorizo which was some of the best I’ve ever had along with scallops and lamb chops. All top notch. The duck, filet and fish were all done to perfection. It’s like dinner and a show watching the chef cook the meal. Truly mesmerizing. The staff was so kind and friendly and the chef asked how we enjoyed each dish. I would definitely come again to Lola’s in hopes of trying other dishes. Think the value for the quality of food, service, and ambience is right.”
“My boyfriend and I visited Oasis Wednesday 03/27 at 8pm. We were shocked to see how busy they were. Every single table was full but the staff handled it GREATLY. They were all so nice and helpful. The crew+the ambiance (all outdoors with fairy lights) + the fresh falafel and DELICIOUS tzatziki sauce made this a 10/10 for me.”

Kennedy Cafe

“Woke up and wanted grilled shrimp. this morning for breakfast came across this place because it was the only people open offering what I wanted at the time I wanted it and let me tell you it was well worth going. Bistro 245
“We loved our experience at Bistro 245. We were there for breakfast, sat outside dockside, and it was a beautiful day. We love the setting..particularly sitting outside. Only downer was there was a cruise ship in port and that blocked the view a little”
“Nice little Cuban spot that benefits from a great location next to Mallory square! This is an awesome spot where people go to watch the sunset. So the restaurant has a very convenient location. It was excellent Cuban food though! We had the plantain nachos along with a mahi-mahi plate. Great food and a location. That's awesome! Worth a stop if you're nearby and need food!”
“My husband and I went here after our wedding, and it definitely was the fancy celebratory restaurant we were looking for. We got a free dessert and the service was amazing. Our waiter was really responsive and friendly and knew the menu really well. The interior is incredible and has all the nautical vibes you might expect from a restaurant right by the sea. Everything felt so fancy. Okay the food. The food may be pricy, but it’s SOOOO worth it!! I had the Shrimp Orecchiette and it changed my life. The shrimp is clearly VERY fresh and different from anything you might get at a store or at a standard seafood restaurant. The pesto was also the best pesto I’ve ever had. My husband really enjoyed his food too. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone, as long as you’re willing to spend $100+ for two people.”
“Absolutely amazing food! The pizza ? is the best! Reminds me of NY pizza! The wings were also very good! Great customer service, and fresh hot good made on the spot!”
“It was a great first time visit to this location. The service was excellent for such a large group that we had. The food was good but not out of this world. They do have a great happy hour. They have very limited parking, but there is a parking lot close by. The appetizers were plenty full and tasty.Parking: There’s a paid parking lot next-door”
“The music was fantastic, and the setting is wonderful. The drinks were a little strong for me, I may be a light weight. Our server was fantastic, she was even in a boot, but really downplaying it, making sure we were taken care of. She did a great job, and I really appreciate her, because I feel like we were accidentally annoying. Food was good, fresh, and exactly what you’re paying for. You want comfortable, solid food? This is the place to go. Fancy food? Probably go somewhere else. But I enjoyed my time, and so did my family. Thanks for a great afternoon, and thank you for making my first vacation since 2018 so special. I really appreciate it. I wish I could remember my server’s name to give her a shout out, hopefully this makes it to her. You’re really sweet and I hope you have the best year ever.”
“Very decent service, limited menu but the dishes are delicious. Too bad we can't have real glasses of wine instead of these plastic cups that ruin the taste of the wine.”
“Great - fresh sushi and sashimi. Nice selection. Gyoza and edamame were also very good. Staff was excellent and we loved the interior ambiance. Will return on our next trip to Key West.”
“They got happy hour almost all day. Oysters , wings, drinks. Service has always being great. Dallas the performance musician is also there from Tuesday to Sunday. Music is also a plus.”
“My husband and I went for breakfast on our last day in KW. Wish we would’ve found this place earlier. It was definitely the best breakfast place we encountered and the service was on point. Will definitely go back ”
“Super delicious food. Seafood and delicious steaks. In a very pleasant atmosphere. Modern and friendly maritime furnishings. Service was very attentive and friendly.”
“I get noodles from here at least once a week. Super friendly people, good food, cold beers, and everything is very fairly priced considering where it is. Anytime they’ve made a mistake when they were busy they always made it right even when I didn’t even realize they made a mistake at all. My go to KW noodle spot.”
“We ate here 3 different times during our stay at the Hyatt. Bartenders are excellent and the chef just as much so. Nothing we got was bad. Cute place with pool & ping pong table to use at no cost.”
“General Horseplay is a phenomenal bar. Bartender Eric waited on my wife and me. He was wonderful interpersonally, and he was a magician as a mixologist. I like to think of myself as educated when it comes to craft cocktails, yet he introduced me to the vieux carre, and it was delightful. I cannot recommend Eric and General Horseplay highly enough.”
“Fantastic burger with crispy onions and yummy island slaw style.Don’t leave food unattended, the Rooster will steal your fries!!!Parking: Easier to just dock boat than to find parking.”
“We really struggled finding this from Google maps but with assistance we did and it was worth the effort. A very small bar with map charts all over the walls and ceiling. They usually have free hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn but apparently the hot dog crock pot wasn't working and although there was some popcorn the machine is on its last leg and we had more kernels than popped corn. None of this impacted the experience. It's an incredible spot that should be visited!!”
“I've been to Key West many times, and somehow missed out on Viv, but I'll be a regular during future visits. Excellent wine selection, and good food with particular awesome charcuterie boards. It's tiny, so reservations are highly recommended.”
“Delicious Nicaraguan food. I got the grilled chicken with rice, it's amazing and decent portion. Their horchata is the bomb as well. Found this gem by accident. We will be back!”

“A bar and restaurant known only to locals! The portions were really generous and served in large bowls, the owner was very sweet, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and it was the most profitable restaurant I've ever eaten in the US.It may be difficult to find, but you can just follow Google Maps, so go in and try it without doubting whether it's right ❤️”
“This is a great hidden gem right on Duval Street. If you want to get away from the traditional touristy dives, this is your spot! Clean, quiet and an excellent wine selection. They have a great happy hour as well with champagne, beer, and wine selections. Good for lounging and people watching!”

One Saloon
“I love going to the one saloon awesome bartenders I enjoy the atmosphere and the bartenders. They do a great job, and they work hard, making delicious drinks and always having a smile on their face. Even when it’s busy one of my bartenders his nickname is Jesus and I love him he is a fabulous bartender and does a great thank you for your great customer service. Much appreciated.”
“Really good hot dogs! If your not a local you will be craving one when you leave, at least it did. All the toppings blend perfectly for the right flavor. It seems like alil too much but it's not! I never knew a simple hot dog could taste so good. I definitely will stop by to grab one anytime im in town. Love the concept and wish he was local or would open up a location in Miami or start a chain. Lol”
“I can not begin to express the hospitality of the owner, Billy, and his crew. They truly make sure their customers are well taken care of and they enjoy doing it… Beautiful energy all around. The food was incredible. Amazing everything, 10/10, highly recommend. ♥️ Billy, thank you for existing.”
“We were greeted immediately and with exceptional courtesy. We were given options for the table and seated quickly. Or server was attentive and very helpful with questions. The setting was beautiful and the food was excellent!”
“Hidden gem in Key West.Overlooking harbor, ample parking, and great selection of Sushi, Thai, beers, wine, and liqueur. Our server, Roger is one of the nicest people you could meet, transparent and genuinely keen to serve.”
“Good food at a reasonable price for Key West. I ordered the burger and somehow managed to finish that gigantic thing. 12 ounces but it was so good I couldn't stop. Service was very friendly and attentive. The brews were good too. I'll be back on the next trip.”
“Fantastic place right on Duval street. All outdoor dining covered by umbrellas. Very Key West feeling. Food is awesome. Must try the Sesame Ahi Tuna if you're not opposed to raw fish”

“We've gone to 915 2 years in a row on our vacation and will continue you go there for as long as we visit and they exist. The food is always excellent and creative from apps to desert. Whole fried snapper- loved it Butternut squash ravioli- so tasty Ceviche- fresh and citrusy Dessert was some almond creamy semifrozen thing with rum poured over it, damn that's good! The bar menu is as good as the food. This place isn't cheap but it's reasonably for what you get. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing experience, fine dining restaurant with exceptional staff, manager Alex was extremely helpful with all the requests our group had, I'm amazed. Our server Igor was always there very patient with us and answering all the questions. Amazing experience all in all. Thank ”
“We are here last Wed night. 3/20. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. But the best part for me I will share in a brief story. I had on a very expensive food and diamond bracelet. I didn't realize that it had fallen off as I was leaving. After we were out of the restaurant an employee from the restaurant ran after me with the bracelet. I was so stunned and relieved. What an outstanding employee he was. We will always return to Nine One Five.”
“Open restaurant with an oval bar and gift shop. Plenty of seating! Located right on the water! Attentive bar staff. Tons of people in town for the New Year! We had a blast! Can't wait to go back!”

“This place is AMAZING and the Swordfish is the best thing on the menu. We always try to get in for dinner at least twice any time we are in Key West, but don’t sleep on the breakfast/brunch because that is wonderful also! Can’t wait to come back!Kid-friendliness: Chicken tenders and fries for the win!”
“Everything was great, from drinks to desert. Unfortunately they didn't have crab cakes like some of the menu pictures showed (I assume due to the crab shortage)”
“Our waiter was extremely knowledgable about the different fish offerings and made some very good suggestions. They give you a lot of food, and everything we had was very good. We would definitely go back again.”
“The best spot in Key West, for real, I love to come her to study, to spend time with my friends, and after and before working out, beautiful staff and really comfortable place.”
“I am originally from Chicago which has some of the best pizza in the world but this pizza restaurant started by two gentlemen directly from Italy knock the pizza right out of the park it is far and away the best pizza in South Florida ask for Alejandro tell him Dennis Miller sent youParking: Keep in mind it is key West there is not a whole lot of parking available on the island”

Extremely educated on wines and menu- great personality and dealt with us as a late walk in. We just got here and wanted real good food and that it was!!! Never disappoints. Oysters are phenomenal and grouper special was out of this world! Can't wait to be back this week.”

Benihana
“Our first Benihana experience took place in Key West. Seating at the famed hibachi tables had a two-hour wait so since the weather was beautiful, we thought we would sit outside facing the water. Our server, Matt, was welcoming and offered recommendations. I had the tasty Spicy Hibachi shrimp while my daughter opted for the Shrimp Yakisoba. Our meals were amazing: perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a great way to end our trip with one flaw: midges. Those little bites stung and interrupted what was a great dinner.”
“If you spectacular, the food was perfect, my husband’s grouper about, but our waitress was something special never felt more Taking care of thank you Fabiola ”
“Amazing! The food was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the people were very friendly. We had the antipasto to start. We each had a different homemade pasta. We finished with the Key lime pie. We were impressed. When we come back we will eat here again”
“Came to key west for a few days and came here twice.Jeremy our server went over and beyond with his service.Margaritas are amazing ?.Try the perfect and frozen watermelon. Jeremy was a delight to have as a server. Make sure you ask for him. The one night we had the volcano nachos and omg ? they’re huge. The next time we got cheeseburgers ? and yummy ?”
“Had lunch here due to convenience and was pleasantly surprised. Had the blackened shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. 2 corn shell tacos, full with veggies, shrimp and a great spicy creamy sauce. Actually went back a couple days later and had them again. Outside bar staff was great, Eddie was the best!”
“We came to Tavern N Town to celebrate my birthday. What a wonderful place! The menu was exceptional from small plates (steamed buns) to pizza to prime rib and seafood, and house-made desserts. “Visited with our toddler and our server, Mica, was do accommodating. Good food, decent beer, cool patio. Only weird part was we seemingly entered from the back right onto the patio and it took us (and we watched several others wait and look) a bit to find the host for seating. They also had a wedding going on in their upper patio and it looked really nice!Kid-friendliness: Our server was very helpful and offered to find some off-menu choices that were more kid-friendly”

“Pretty traditional on the water restaurant. Open air concept so you're sitting in whatever the weather decides. Food was ok at best. Strip steak had a nice flavor but poor cut, lots of grizzle. ? Wasn't cooked and potatoes in steamer pot were still hard. Other seafood was good. Service was just ok. Not sure I would need to go back. Not super knowledgeable on gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: Staff not very knowledgeable on gluten free options”

“We stopped in & watched the entire show! Fantastic music, great staff & the perfect ambiance for Jazz.Only thing I can say is an opportunity is the drinks. We tried 4 different martinis & they were all HEAVY on the liquor. I know bartenders do this because they believe it's better for guests. However, balance is essential when mixing alcohol with juices, etc. Overall, a great spot to have a drink & watch live music on Duval!”

“We loved our experience at Bistro 245. We were there for breakfast, sat outside dockside, and it was a beautiful day. We love the setting..particularly sitting outside. Only downer was there was a cruise ship in port and that blocked the view a little”
“I have been wanting to try this place out. Got the brisket, mac & cheese, and cornbread. Everything was delicious! Did not disappoint! The views are beautiful, and I had Coke in a bottle! Something I haven’t had in years! I loved it!”
“Found Mayanjali as we wanted to try vegan and something vibrant, energetic and away from the regular crowd of key west, it was worth it.The owner Ivan greeted us very well and got us tasty & healthy smoothie, masala chai and MALT sandwich. He showed us the shakti yoga at the back of it. It has very good energy and intentions to it. The place got in my heart as I got to see our gods in the shala. Saraswati, Ganesha, Laxmi and OM signs & mantras caught our attention and it was amazing to see such a good place in key west, florida. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this place.”
“We were there 2 days before this location closed. I do not understand why it closed. it was a great location, great atmosphere, great service, excellent food, friendly people. Everyone enjoyed the food they had.”

“Very fun atmosphere, wide open! I counted four different bars inside! Bartenders were fantastic and make sure you tip them well! Don't forget to wave at the several live webcams!I highly recommend!”
“I’m sure this place isn’t known for its veggie burgers, and the black bean burger i had was nothing special. Loved the atmosphere, and loved that they gave us free bananas with our food. Great prices!”

“Good food. Very nice staff. Outstanding views out to the beach and sea. This week - because their systems are down - they were only accepting cash. Breakfast is good. Dinner gets pricey - presumably because the sun goes down over the sea.”
“My wife's dinner she loved. Yellow fin tuna. My filet was good cooked to perfection but not a blue cheese lover and chose wrong. Zucchini and potatoes excellent. Nice wine choices. Overall for money and ambience excellent!”
“The most delicious key lime pie I have ever had. Single slices make this a perfect treat any time of day. They also sell Byrd's cookies which are delicious. Quick, friendly service.”
“Enjoyable dining experience on Duval St!! I tried multiple dishes including the Ahi Tuna Nachos, Conch Fritters, Shrimp Po Boy and Key West Loaded Pineapple! All the dishes were fantastic with the special shout out to the Key Lime Aioli which was served with the Conch Fritters. (There are Six loaded chips in the Ahi Tuna Nachos plate)”
“happy hour 88cent oysters and $1 yuengling.. yummy. we ate here 3 times the week we were there. just liked it. oysters, super fresh.. shrimp., very large and tasty. good bloody marys to.”
“This is most beautiful place to hangout, watch sunset, eat great food and experience amazing service. Special shout out to NATALIA ( server) who always greets with beautiful smile, positive , energetic , attentive and fast ”
“The breakfast spot was recommended by staff at our resort. It was delicious! I tried the seafood omelette. My bf had the inside out eggs Benedict. Both were great. If I had to choose one, his was better. Next time I'd get the hollandaise sauce as a side with my omelette.”
