Beach day! Lagerheads is the BEST! Nice small beach. Live Music. Draft beer. Chair rentals available. And OH. MY. GOSH. the fish tacos are some of the best we have ever had. Fresh mango salsa over a delicious white fish....this place is worth a trip just for the fish tacos. A *must do* on your next Key West visit! We didn't stay, but we thought this would be a good sunset location too.
I've never had a bad experience until the afternoon of January 30th. It was the least busy that I've seen and walked directly to order with no wait & very few on the beach. It took over 10 minutes to get our Cuban Sandwiches. When I asked "No cookie" they said they hadn't been very busy with the bad weather and didn't have any. huh???My Cuban had way too much mustard & overwhelmed the meat.My friend ordered chips & salsa to share with 2 others.
