Mixed emotions about Crown. Small neighborhood fried chicken spot that reminds me of home (NYC). I've been eating here for years and will continue to. Chicken is typically good and well seasoned. But sometimes they fall short. For example I prefer my chicken well done and only wings. I have noticed that if I call ahead and pick up in person my chicken is done to perfection, but if I order on doordash not so much. I was visiting from TN and wanted some fried chicken other than the local chains. Stumbled across this little gem. I'm not going to lie, when you venture into this part of town, it gives off another country, sketchy vibes, even. And when we walked in, everyone, even the customer's, looked of the same nationality so that's what I mean by another country. The lady's behind the counter were very helpful, courteus and patient. The food was delicious but the salad not so much, the lettuces were yellow and lacked dressing; The girls who serve need to be more attentive and awake, you have to ask them for glasses, sauces, napkins, everything! If you don't ask, they don't give you!
