I live in Tampa and needed to find a very special place for a family bachelorette dinner. A friend suggested The Italian Joint. What a gift!Weeks before I began texting with Erica, the owner. She was incredibly responsive and eager to help me design an event that met my budget and biggest hopes. Every step of the way, Erica made it so easy for me to plan from a distance.My daughter-in-law to be was the bride. She loves Taylor Swift so I suggested guests to have some fun and wear Swiftie attire. I say this to share how amazing Erica is- not only did SHE greet me in a sparkly jacket but she played Taylor Swift music the entire dinner event for us. I could not be more grateful or pleased. Her family and servers were equally kind and pleasant.The homemade food was generous and delicious.The wine was outstanding and several ladies asked me to share the name.Do yourself a favor and go get a great meal there or plan an event.I’ve held events before and can say no one has been more helpful and competent.Thank you, Erica, from our new family by marriage.

The food was OK although a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered the burrata y prosciutto pizza and I wanted to add pepperoni and basil and the pizza cook sent out the pizza with cold pepperoni on the side and no basil because he thought “it would be to much on the pizza.” Waitress brought out food with no napkins or utensils although she was friendly. We ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts but I can make better food at home. I don’t believe I will return.
Great place and food was great. Friendly staff, we had the lasagna, pizza and caprese salad that came with fried eggplant. Very good portions and flavorful. Would definitely return when back in town. Highly recommend!

I wish I can give more than 5 stars. This place is a must, family owned and you feel that from the moment you walk in, the restaurant is small so I definitely recommend making a reservation! The service was outstanding, always making sure we were good and were not missing anything. The food was amazing, everything made from scratch and very fresh. Definitely try the 5 Chesse Fonduta for appetizer, is amazing. Everything was delicious from the house salads to the entrees to the desserts to the cafe latte. They do have outside seating as well, this is definitely a great restaurant to the charming Historic Downtown Kissimmee area, definitely come try it.Parking: There is street parking available for free but is limited, city garage parking close by is free.
