This place caught our attention from the road. Soon as we saw the big sign we immediately pulled in to try it out.The experience before you even stepped foot into the building felt like an old 1800s saloon in a dated western town. Decent BBQ. A few very non-Texas things: every restaurant in Texas has Dr Pepper, never Mr Pib; no self respecting BBQ joint in Texas has chips and salsa, but if they did, they would be free, not $10; all Texas BBQ comes with complimentary sliced white bread. But overall the food was decent, atmosphere was very western, and the service was great. John was great!

Ask For John! John is the best waiter they have and very knowledgable about the product and areas. I am a local and can be found here at least once month. They have a nice selection of beers and the food is really good.
