What a find! Today I needed to take my mother for an xray and wanted to find a nice lunch spot to spoil her a little. So I did a quick dive online to find something in Lakeland. Wow! What a wonderful experience and I definitely did not expect what I found. Service, ambience, food and beverage were fantastic. I had a truly unforgettable culinary experience. The pulpo61 was cooked to perfection, remarkably tender and full of flavor with each bite. I paired it with their signature side salad and elevated my meal creating a balance of textures and flavors. Having tried pulpo dishes at various restaurants, I can confidently say none have come close to matching Nineteen61’s pulpo dishes.

Excellent food. Had the Ropa vieja and it was amazingly delicious. Matt gave us great service. All of the staff was attentive. Great variety of choices on the menu. A wee bit loud environment but it got quieter as the evening progressed past 8:30. I highly recommend going.Parking: Public parking garage across the street on the corner free after 3 pm. Easy to access.
