My family and I got dinner from here to try it out for the first time, and not only was the food subpar in taste and quality(really disappointing ribs and pulled pork especially), it gave my entire family food poisoning that ruined mother's day. And, when politely asked for a refund for the meal, they refused! Save your money and your stomach and don't eat at Lakeland BBQ Company/ Polk City BBQ Company.

Very very unique!WhatI got the La Vie En Rose half sweet. The owner, Jenna, is very open about her mental health battles and how expressing herself through art has become a productive and beautiful way to cope as well as to bring encouragement and “sunshine” to others through her talent! If you enjoy supporting small businesses, and like to shop with intentionality, or just love bright, colorful, sunshine-y stuff, then you have to RUN not walk to Twenty Seven!!! (or shop from her awesome online store if you aren’t local) and if that wasn’t enticing enough, she also shares her space with an equally awesome bakery–So grab a cookie or a cup of coffee and peruse all the vibrant nooks and crannies throughout the store to find your own little bit of sunshine to take home with you! I promise you won’t leave empty-handed.

Conveniently located in quaint downtown Lakeland, the shop is a must to truly capture the city’s growing culture of support and care. It’s a coffee in the back, party in the front kinda spot locals and travelers alike frequent often. No matter where you’re from, you’re a regular the second you walk in and I can’t recommend the experience more!

My personal experience with this company was a night mare. I ordered and paid for catering a month in advance. Confirmed my order a few days prior and they did a no show. No call no nothing. The owner never apologized nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Even after calls and reviews nothing. When a company leaves you stranded for your big event it’s pretty obvious they care nothing for their customers.
