I ordered the Runaway bay and Port Antonio as a take out order. To start the fish was very small and had more sauce than fish. I also ordered the runaway Bay which is cooked down in coconut milk, tasted a little bland and could have used more season. Overall...it was ok. Not bad, but not great.
The lunch was good but not great. The Lobster roll was small , but tasty for lunch. I'm sure some of the other items would be amazing. Went with some clients. The waitress Laurel was fantastic very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Just a little disappointed with my meal. Maybe if back I would try again. Very expensive for the lunch sample. It looked like catch of day was better.
Yes they are on island time, and yes, occasionally some items are not available but 'bad food'- negative. The fish and seafood is fresh and well seasoned! The rice n peas is amazing, festival and bammy are yummy, and the drinks are always good. I'm not a fan of the fact that they add a service fee to your bill, but that accounts for gratuity so I choose not to add anything extra because the service is just ok. I will continue to return bc I believe their chef is amazing!
