Connolly's Tavern Reviews

Guinness on draft and Strongbow too without any of that dubious pub grubby look Irish pubs tend to have; what more could any good Cooney want? Friendly and attentive. Usually quiet off peak hours off peak days, something I like.

We stopped in for a drink. My sweetie had a beer & I had a margarita (w/Patron & Grand Marnier), which was excellent. Bar is on a street corner & attached to other shops. Parking is on the side or back but it's not paved (lots of dips). Plenty of TVs (we able to watch the Daytona Duels). There is a pool table in the middle. Good music playing (older songs (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton). There is a small food menu (not a lot on it).

I visited on a monday afternoon, so it wasn't very busy. Great place to sit and relax, and they have a decent selection. My bartender was Lee, and she was very accommodating. She recommended the Connolly's Screw Bomb, which was a half pint of guiness, mixed shot glass of screwball peanut butter whisky and baileys irish cream. It was delicious. I had two. If you're in the area and need a drink, give it a shot. Pun intended.
