Marek's Restaurant

It has been a while since last visiting Marek's. It will certainly not be long before we return. We had a wonderful experience. Goat cheese and beet salad was delicious. Both entrees were excellent Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

We had high hopes but were disappointed. I'm not sure the AC was on, and it's difficult to enjoy dinner while perspiring. I ordered the house Pinot Grigio, and even at half price (happy hour) wasn't worth it... super sweet. The meal was mediocre, served in a shabby chic environment, and dessert was disappointing. We were in Marco Island for a whole month. We found this place towards the end of our stay. We ended up eating here two days in a row. We loved it so much. Everything was phenomenal. Can't recommend this any higher. Can't wait to go back and eat there again! It's not on the waterfront but isn't a very old house built back in 1880. I hope they never pull it down. So cool that they can kept it up from the past and put a restaurant there. These people work their hands of the bone...read full review
