The food was actually pretty good, and the atmosphere right on the beach is amazing! But the wait staff and kitchen staff, while very friendly, seemed a little disorganized. We had to ask three times for water, and the Sand's Tacos with blackened Mahi came out well before (15 minutes) my daughter's chicken tenders.
Went there on a Sunday for breakfast, must've been just that day that the service was slow and they kept forgetting to supply us with utensils and the coffee. So this is a place that you have to have patience and be after them even for the check. But the atmosphere, views and access to the beach, plus the good food was worth the wait. I would go again, but take seating upstairs instead.

Open air patio on first floor with exceptional view of the ocean surf. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Bathrooms are tucked away near the front, but were easy to find. Prices are moderate but the flavor is exceptional.
