Quaint little place on Lake Washington road adjacent Publix and Dunkin. Passed by here hundreds of times and always wanted to try; finally did. Very cool place, small pub, several tables, friendly staff, beer on tap, laid back atmosphere, tables outside, great fish and chips. Wish I'd have gone in sooner. Will definitely be back.

Love the fish and chips there. Also the fried mushrooms with home made curry sauce are a delight.

Archie's British Restaurant turned out to be a delightful surprise during our visit to town for the Kansas concert and there was also the Renaissance Festival in town. Our quest for authentic fish and chips led us to this quaint establishment, and we were not disappointed in the slightest.Despite its relatively small size, Archie's was buzzing with activity, both inside and out. The fact that the outside seating was also full attested to its popularity among locals and visitors alike. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, creating a lively and welcoming environment. Our experience wasn't dampened by the dedicated server who, despite being the sole staff member on duty (with two others calling in), was tirelessly working to ensure everyone felt attended to. Their hard work and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. We had the amazing Banger Bites for an appetizer and they were so very good! Now, onto the star of the show – the fish and chips. Archie's delivered on the promise of authenticity, serving up a dish that transported us straight to the British Isles. They even give you the choice of haddock or cod. The crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish, and golden fries were a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor.Leaving Archie's, we were not only pleased with our meal but also eager to return for more. The genuine atmosphere, coupled with the dedication of the lone server, made for an unforgettable dining experience. Without a doubt, we would recommend Archie's British Restaurant to fellow food enthusiasts seeking a taste of authentic fish and chips. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition, and we'll be sure to return for another satisfying culinary adventure.Parking: Parking is tight right at the pub but there is a big shopping center behind it with plenty of parking.

Good luck getting service even you bring your dog. I sat at the outside tables for 20 minutes and no one ever came out even after calling them.

"Today marked my first visit to Archie's British Restaurant, and let me tell you, it won't be my last! I ordered the fish haddock and chips, and it was absolutely divine – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. But what truly made the experience exceptional was our waitress, Sandi . She was not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly attentive, despite being busy running around. Sandi’s exceptional service added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fantastic meal. Can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu! Highly recommend Archie's for anyone craving delicious British cuisine served with a smile. ??? #BritishCuisine #FoodieFinds #GreatService"

I've wanted to try this place for two years but they're closed on Sunday (my cheat day) but today I had a wild hair and finally made it here. Visited on 2-23-24 at 12pm. $54.89 got us three beers and two adult entrees. Service from Craig was fast and friendly, even tho he got slammed with like 6 tables at once and didn't seem to have any help. Looks like they're not big fans of dusting but otherwise it's pretty clean and cozy. We started out with an ice cold pint of London Pride on tap for $6.55. I've never had it before but enjoyed it very much. It's a little sweet and has more iron flavor than hops. I love that they have chilled glasses. I had the $15.95 fish and chips. You can choose haddock or cod and I chose haddock. The filet was absolutely enormous and thick. It was so hot and fresh I had to let it cool down for a minute. The fish was so delicate...not even a hint of fishiness. The batter was so tasty and perfectly seasoned...you could dip a shoe in it and it'd be delicious. The whole filet was perfectly fried to a deep crunchy golden brown. I'd sell my soul to eat this again. The fries were hot and fresh and had some sort of delicious seasoned salt on them. I can't wait to come back and try their shephards fries which the menu says is a bed of sidewinder fries topped with shepards pie filling and cheese (OMG!!!)

The fish and chips that we had were extremely tasty. The Cole Slaw was excellent, too. Our server was very friendly. I would definitely go back there again when I am up that way.

I tried the scotch eggs, curry fries, bangers and mash, and fish and chips. All of the dishes were superb and tasted very authentic, just like the food I have had on my trip to Brittian. Alot of Britton restraunts don't get it right, Archie's exceeded expectations. I will definetly be back!

Small British restaurant with amazing food. We had the fish and chips along with the Rueben sandwich. Both were nice size portions and very favorable. Looking forward to returning again.
