Great food and drinks! We had lunch on Saturday and it was so good that we went back for dinner and took a guest on Monday night. The whole fried snapper and the Hemingway was incredible. Highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich and grilled fish platters were so good too. The strawberry batido with milk is highly recommended.Outside seating was very comfortable.Just like all restaurants right now staffing is an issue so be prepared for food to take a little longer than normal. Remember to be kind to your servers and enjoy the experience and enjoy the great food!
Loved it! Delicious food, thoughtfully plated. We enjoyed dining on the outdoor patio tremendously. The flan was truly outstanding. Looking forward to eating here again one day.
Absolutely wonderful. Authentic delicious Cuban food. It’s not a huge restaurant but they were able to accommodate our group of 11 inside this afternoon and they have indoor or outdoor dining. We really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is half the fun! Great service. Highly recommend.
Every time I come over they never disappoint.*The business is open don't pay attention to the road blockage, just past it.
This place was a place of happiness when we moved to Brevard! As a Cuban American, seeing my flag in places bring me joy. The food was great, the vibe awesome and i just loved it. I would recommend this place, but now with everything that’s happening in our country of Cuba and I’m seeing CUBANS not speak up and share what’s happening, I can’t stand by you. You can use your delicious food, your voices to educate others about what’s happening in OUR country. And I haven’t seen
Always a good time and great Cuban food.
Great food, authentic taste & friendly service! Try the Hemingway rice!
What a special restaurant. Amazing food we ate outside. Felt like i was in the Keys with the decor. Started with pitchers of sangria!! The Churrasco. A marinaded skirt steak was so flavorful! I could eat this meal once a week. Everyone at our table said this was the best meal we had while vacationing in Florida. My compliments to the chef and staff!
We arrived just before the dinner rush. There was a limit on what food as available but what was available was great. I ordered the pork tostones (I believe), it's an appetizer. Oh. My. Gosh. The pork was so flavorful and juicy. It as so good I yelled over to the chef! Everything was great. Our server was great as well, very cheery and always checking on us. The only reason I'm not giving the full 5 was because it was SO loud in the small area we were sat in inside ad there was one female server who was very curt it customers. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. Yummy!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We got to the restaurant and was waiting to be seated. They took a party of 8 that came AFTER us and we were only a party of 3. Then after 20 mins of waiting they come out to tell us they are no longer taking people because "they have too many customers and are backed up" why didn't you tell me when we first arrived so we wouldn't have been waiting outside for no reason. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not come here. Also when we arrived one of the servers had to tell another server to go outside and start cleaning the tables because there were so many people outside waiting to be seated. Why do you need to be told to do that when there are clearly customers waiting, no wonder they're backed up their employees don't know how to do their jobs properly.
I stopped over for lunch with my son. First I have to share how cozy the place was with colorful art. The food was tasty and fresh. You can tell the place was popular as ppl started to show up at 11 am for lunch, by the time we finished eating parking lot was full. Met the owner, he was super kind, he spoke with everyone and came Abd introduced Himself to us. Observed the owner playing the guitar for a table near us Our server was attentive can't help to share again how good the food was. Can't wait to bring my husband to try the whole red snapper and maybe for the music as the owner shared they usually have. Worth to stop if you're in the area
really good Cuban food! The restaurant is kind of tucked away & off the beaten path. There's nothing fancy about the place, it's kind of dated & has a bit of character but the food is DELICIOUS. Definitely worth stopping by & trying something new!
This place serves really good cuban food. I had the cuban style pork with white rice and beans and i have never had such tasty white rice.My boyfriend ordered Hemingway’s rice and it was so delicious. The lobster tail on top was so juicey and the rice was delicious. For drinks we ordered the Piña colada, a glass of sangria, a Cuba libre, and a mojito. The piña colada was fresh but needed to be a little more blended. The sangria was really good.My boyfriend had the mojito and said it was very good with lots of fresh mint. He described the Cuba libre as Liqoured down coke. It was good and strong. We will definitely be back to visit.
I've been going to El Ambia Cubano since their beginning and my favorite little Cuban restaurant isn't a secret anymore. Get there early or plan on waiting either way it's worth it! Authentic home style deliciousness! I recommend trying it all including the sangria! Limited to beer and wine only including the mock-tails, a few options to wet your whistle. All of our friends and visitors agree it's a place to visit again and again!
A wonderful local spot with delicious and authentic Cuban cuisine. Went on back-to-back nights The Masas de Puerco with grilled onions and plantains and the Hemingway Rice tickled my palate.
