Good food . Not over the top but good great water views
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and military discount!
Great atmosphere. Great bartenders
View and staff ok. Clam chowder the potato under cooked and way to many. Soup was like paste. Shrimp skewer Adlai small and tastiest. Oh view is good and apparently what u pay for not the food. Yuck
This is one of our favorite places to go. You can dine outside or inside. The way they have it laid out gives you lots of options to view the river. The food is usually really good and they're bacon-wrapped scallops are the best in Brevard County! The service is always fantastic and they always have great bands. Their space is great to dance, relax, or enjoy a large group atmosphere. There are boat docks, so so you can bring your boat right up to the restaurant. The outside deck is covered really well for sun protection. At night it's always fun and they have furnaces that they burn to keep people warm. They really go out of their way to make your experience fun, enjoyable and memorable. We go to this place at least once a month. There is plenty of parking for regular vehicles, motorcycles and have handicapped spaces. Anytime we have people from out of town this is a go to destination. Thank you to Grills for always making our time there fantastic!
We ate lunch at grills today! The rolls were stale, my fries arrived halfway through our meal! My husband couldn't even find the fish on his fish sandwich! and the chips were all broken there was not one solid potato chip. This is certainly not the grills of yesteryear In addition the service was poor! They just stood around talking
This place was pretty good. Our party of 6 waited ~20 minutes for a table on a Sunday afternoon. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Sorry, service dogs only. To eat, I ordered the steak sandwich with chips. It was pretty good! I was surprised because I am a tough critic of steak sandwiches after growing up in New Jersey. My only complaint was that the pickle and sandwich sit on top of the chips and make them soggy. The waitress mixed up one of our orders, but she was nice about it and accommodating. We ended up keeping the mistaken dish and it was delicious! Her service was great and fast. The River Tour next door gives vouchers for lunch here and the waitress was patient enough to apply 6 vouches to our meal. The kids loved that they could bring their "plates" (they were frisbees) home with them. Overall, I would come back if in the area again.
Sat outside and was very enjoyable. The drinks are delicious, I recommend the Blue Hawaiian. The food was so good. I do wish they had the lobster tail, but I understand that supply issues are thing and happily ordered something else. As the night got busier our server got overwhelmed. She messed a few side items on our order and messed up how the bill was suppose to be divided up. She was very apologetic and treated our table to two free desserts. I would get there early or be prepared to wait for a table if you are going on the weekend or Friday.
Food and atmosphere is good But service was too long We were waiting for our appetizer 45 minutes And they forgot to put lemon in a water as we asked
Very cool atmosphere and setting. Beautiful view of the Indian River whether you sit inside or outside. Unfortunately, the food is just ok, especially for the prices, which I felt were a bit high. We also had several issues with our service and our food and drink orders. I discussed the issues with the manager and she adjusted our bill fairly and without hesitation. I hate to complain about service or food quality. In fact, it's very rare that I do so. I chose to discuss the issues with the manager in this case because I could tell that our server was new. The manager confirmed that was the case and that she would go over the issues with her in a constructive manner.
Sunshine, water, great food!!! We ate on patio overlooking the Indian River. It's truly the best way to eat, love the location. We tried the Coconut Shrimp, Reuben, and Sesame Seared Tuna. All were great.
Stopped in here after I had been given a recommendation. It was a great recommendation! We were told by our server that rock shrimp was the special, if you have ever had rock shrimp you never turn it down! It tastes like baby lobster tail and it did NOT disappoint! Absolutely amazing! My wife went with the chowder for her meal and she enjoyed it. I ordered the grilled fish sandwich. I chose blackened tuna and it was great! We both ordered the Intercoastal IPA to drink as well. We always try to drink local beers. It was a good IPA. Gonna have to check out the brewery next!
Grills has a gorgeous view overlooking the water and the outside dining area is decorated like a beach getaway. I also recieved some of the best service from Morgan, very thorough and attentive despite the place being full. Unfortunately, the food was fairly basic. My tacos were good but there was nothing special about them. My wife felt her reuben's cheese was very waxy.Appetizer: Bacon Wrapped ShrimpEntrees: (1) Fish Tacos (2) Grilled ReubenAtmosphere/Decor: Goegeous view over the river. Beachy, open and pleasant.Server Attentiveness: Incredible. One of the best servers I have had.Food Wait: AverageCost/Value: ~$10 entree. Good price for entrees.
We gave it a try for dinner based on the recommendation of the front desk of the hotel. The view is very nice. The food was nothing special. My son had the kids mahi, unfortunately I asked for it blackened which was not great. We started with the cheese stuffed shrimp, they were good, not great. I had the mahi tacos, also blackened, overall it just wasn't good. We probably wouldn't try it again but if you do, I wouldn't recommend ordering what we tried.
They have everything going for them except a kitchen staff that cares about the food. Grills' is located right on the water, has seating inside and out, there was even a very good live band that was not too loud. We ordered the Shrimp Cuban, Seafood Alfredo, and the Coconut Shrimp. All were disappointing to be polite. The Shrimp Cuban was bland sliced lunchmeat with three small shrimps and set a new low for bad cubanos. The Alfredo had virtually no taste and reminded me of eating milquetoast. The Coconut Shrimp I'm confident to say was taken straight out of the frozen Costco bag and popped in the broiler.. it was something you would eat at home when you're too lazy to cook. The combination of the unpleasant food and the large atmosphere made me think I was in a waterfront version of Golden Corral. Get a chef and crew that can cook and this place would be awesome.
