If you’d like to wait in line or be ignored at the bar even though it’s barely inhabited, this is your place. Totally inefficient and poorly planned. Beer selection is good if you can get one. ??♀️ friendly

Iron Oak is the hidden gem in downtown Melbourne. I've been there many times now, and have yet to be disappointed when I visit. They have a large selection of rotating craft beer. Their specialty cocktails are also quite yummy. The Iron Oak bartenders have always been friendly, quick, and capable when serving me.

The air is heavy with hamburger grease and the beers are kind of expensive ($9 for ~10 oz pour). It could easily be improved with a little care from the owners.

My company uses them to host our holiday parties. I absolutely love the atmosphere there. Everyone has always been so friendly. We usually have our food catered from another place for our parties so I can't really rate on their menu. I can tell you it's always been very fun. I no longer live downtown but would definitely recommend this as a place to pop in if you are ever downtown looking for a place to grab a drink.

Good place to have a drink watch live music, with a large craft beer selection, and a window to get food from a separate small business. Bartenders were extra friendly and very helpful all night.

Awesome bar set up with the bar in the middle and a band area to the left and open bar setting on the right. Staff was attentive, helpful (with samples of their vast beer selection), and working hard all night. $15 cover for a local band is a tad steep, but doable. Beer and liquor selection covers all the taste buds for sure. One thing I would suggest, maybe have the bartenders focus more on the paid entry side vs open walk in side...should be some sort of perk for paying more and listening to the same music as the free side. Seen they had food options until about 10 pm, did not try any. Will come back here again for sure.
