The Gnocchi alla Romana is delicious - the best I've ever had. Staff is super friendly. I can't wait to go back and try some of the many Italian sweets!
Lunch special ravioli was amazing. Great service AND they have a bakery and deli!!!
Great service from Tracey.
Was very tasty and was reasonably priced. I had the combination. A lot of selections for desserts. You can even buy Italian Meats and Cheese's
This was our first visit. Okay, this is authentic Italian food! I don't have the words to describe the flavors and texture of this amazing spot. I should call it cuisine instead of food. Incredible prices as well. Avg cost was around $11.95 per plate with complimentary bread that was delicious. Listen, just try it once. It's a hidden gem!
Every so often I come across a place and it knocks it out of the park. Pane E Vino Italian restaurant just did that for me!! The food was totally amazing. Everything had the perfect texture and flavor. I had the shrimp alfredo. The sauce was super fresh and delicious. The pasta tasted homemade and was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken parm and was just as amazing. The cutlets were breaded just right and everything pleased for sure. The waitress was totally amazing, always attentive, and I wanted for nothing.I write a lot of reviews but, I have never been more excited to write one like this.A jewel of a real authentic Italian deli/restaurant right in the Oaks Plaza next to the theater. Do yourself a favor and don't put this one off.
Menu has great choices! Food was AWESOME! Spaghetti Cabenaro and Lamb Chop special were great! Service was acceptional! Will definitely go back. Lots on menu to experience!
Excellent service and food. I’m very picky about veal. Had the Veal Parmigiana add it was fabulous. Even the bread was amazing. Loved the focaccia.
Authentic Italian food in Melbourne! I'm from NY so I'm used to seeing places like this. But not in Florida. This was a good feeling of nostalgia. Gabby was the best server- very attentive and sweet to the whole group. They have authentic Italian beer that is brewed in Italy and imported. Most of the typical Italian dishes, as well as traditional pastries, meats, cheeses, and foods to take home.
This restaurant was one of our favorites 16 years ago when my husband and I were dating. The food quality goes up and down. I have even had the owner go back and make my meal over because the red sauce was bad. Friday night were were without the kids, so we decided it would be a good place to go for a date night. We showed up at 9pm only to find out that they were closed. I had looked for the hours of availability to no avail except on FB which said they were open until 11pm. We were shocked that they closed so early on the weekend. Sunday we decided to go try again. They were open and Happy Hour was going on. My husband got the calamari since it was on the happy hour list. We also got the oil and spices for the bread for $2.95 because in the past, the bread was hit or miss. Today is was great! I had the veal marsala which was very good and my husband had the chicken SCARPARIELLO, which he said was ok, but he's had better there. We were both surprised that since we were ordering off the dinner menu, there was no soup or salad included, which had been in the past. We also had an unsweetened tea and a sweet tea, which had a raspberry flavor. It was not what I expected but it was good. We opted not to order desert, even though there were several that looked very good. Our server was an older gentleman and he was good. Unfortunately for them, there are several other local Italian restaurants that are just as good if not better for the price point.
I wasn't planning on going here the place next store had a wait but it had such a nice quiet vibe and availability.I'm very happy I changed plans started with the bruschetta and it was fantastic. My meal was fantastic(though I dont recall the name), and my lady was very pleased with her meal as well. Will be going back to resteraunt and deli.
Ever been to Italy? Once you eat the food in Italy nothing else will compare except Panevino! The owner Carmello uses his mom's authentic Italian recipes to bring Italy to you. So yum!
We stopped in for lunch and ordered 'Linguini and clams with white sauce'. The clams were good (a serving of 10 medium sized clams), the linguini was 'al dente', but the 'white sauce' was blah - watery with virtually no taste - definitely NOT what I was hoping for. When our check was presented, I looked and the charge was $13.95 - the menu showed the price as $11.95. I pointed this out to our server, and after about three or four minutes, she returned with a corrected bill.
We asked for the starter of the squid and tomatoes with cheese, , but the waiter did not take the order again after waiting for 45 minutes, we decided to leave so we paid, but when we entered the bathroom we saw cookies and desserts in the display case then we decided to make the line and buy take out since we had not been able to have dinner after waiting for 30 minutes on the line. The old man to attend there went to the checkout box and did other things. With other clients without changing gloves or taking a pair of tweezers, he took our cookies and put them in the container.First thing that we did not like when we saw that he put a burnt cookie we told him to please change it, which he did reluctantly then we told him to We wanted cappuccino to go and his attitude got worse saying he continued that we had to wait for him to serve the customers behind us first. we honestly ran out of that restaurant and I don't recommend it the service is not very bad
The stuffed mushrooms were different from the menu and came with a strange orange sauce. The linguine with oil, garlic and anchovies was too oily. The anchovies were not cooked in the oil , they were put on top. The house montepulciano was bitter. My husband had good mussels fra diavlo and his white clam sauce was good. So a 3.
