I’ve been going here since we moved here 4 years ago never had an issue BUT tonight my dad got the half rack of ribs, he got six tiny a55 ribs that were more like chicken wing size(I posted a photo,go to photos and then latest and you will see)and my food was room temperature wasn’t hot,we aren’t the people to send thing back so we sucked it up and said everything was great,and didn’t send anything back ,really disappointed ,the food is great the flavors are amazing but just cold,once you drown your bbq in sauce it’s great and not dry,the green beans are amazing but would be outstanding if they were hot,same with the Mac n cheese,not sure if I’ll come back after this

A friend and I ate there yesterday. The food and service were excellent. Since covid, this Sonnys has been very hit or miss, and because of this, I haven't eaten here quite as often. In the past, you would be standing at the front to be seated, and nobody would acknowledge you standing there. After about 10 minutes I would leave with my group of friends. I heard many other people say the same thing. Also, they don't let you order ahead and eat in their dining room when you get there, you can only order to go and take it with you. That doesn't help when you are on your lunch break and have limited time with your coworkers. After covid, the food took a long time to come out of their kitchen. So, they have lost a lot of business by not being able to seat people and then taking a long time to get their food out for the past few years. I hope the experience I received yesterday is the new norm so I can start going there more often. I love Sonnys food when it is cooked and served correctly. My rating is based on yesterday's experience. I took off a star for my past experience. Had I rated them in the past, it would be a zero star rating if I could.

Not happy...I go thru the drive thru and purchase a order of Redneck Eggs rolls...I ask for the sauce that is included..with tip $12.00 later I get home to no sauce anywhere and dry egg rools...Come on people do better. You feel quilts if you don't leave a tip but you can't get what you order.

I have been going to this Sonny's for years but unfortunately post Covid they have been serving very poor quality food. I understand times can be tough on the restaurant industry but serving yesterdays BBQ and old sides is not the way to stay in business. My hope is that one day management will recognize this and not allow anything they wouldn't eat themselves to be served to customers.

Only BBQ resturant near us in North Melbourne area. Great smoked turkey, good BBQ. Potato salad is good, slaw and beans are not to my taste. Location is off interstate.Parking: Off North Wickham on Sherrif Road, at I95. Small lot, but not usually full. Between 2 motels.
Sonny's BBQ is great. New to the area and this was one of the first restaurants I visited since relocating here. The service and the food was great! I will definitely return for the service and the delicious BBQ!
