Before the pandemic there was better service and better treatment" nothing is the same anymore and although things are evolving, there is always a lack of people to take care of you and receive you.
**UPDATED ***I just lowered another star due to them consistently closing their drawers about an hour only so you can only use a card on my late nights i get paid cash and dont want to have to put a burger on a card because they are being lazy half the time I don't even bring my cards bc I know I will have cash. They won't even take exact change like to the penny I tried. I have worked in restaurants closing is done AFTER the restaurant closes they should not be starting it...read full review

Steak 'n shake generally has good food and great milkshakes. They no longer have the mushroom Swiss burger which was one of the best things on the menu. They get a one for service because you know longer have face-to-face service with an employee you have to go in and use the computer to order your meal. It's really sad that we are teaching future generations that you don't have to speak to people, All you have to do is push buttons on a tablet.
