We dined at El Tucan for the first time this evening, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had Aubrey as our server, and she was so friendly and gracious. The menu had a lot of delicious sounding options, which made it difficult to make a decision, so we asked for her recommendations. Let me tell you, she did not steer us wrong! We had the best Mexican meal we've had in a long time at El Toucan yesterday. My husband always orders enchiladas and he couldn't contain himself with joy over his perfect meal! He ordered his with the perfectly spiced ground beef and their ranchero sauce. Wow! I'm not sure why my trio (taco, enchilada and burrito) was so flavorful too but I'm guessing it's the high quality ingredients they must use. Dakota is a rockstar! We had a party of 9 show up on a Saturday around 7pm. The place was busy but we were sat in a reasonable amount of time. The drinks were strong, the food was hot and the service was GREAT. Despite seeming short staffed on a busy night our server was all smiles and got all separate tickets right on the first go. This was in addition to clearing all tables and handling the people coming in. Fabulous night - highly recommend.
