Awesome little mom and pop cafe on Merritt Island! Opened for breakfast (menu looked good) and lunch (delicious). Something-for-everyone menu, daily specials, and homemade soups! Blackened grouper sandwich was delicious and actually blackened (not just Cajun), unlike most places outside of the Keys. Plenty of things to try on the menu, so we will be back when out running errands on Merritt Island!
Nice find in Merritt Island tucked away in the Michael's/Aldies shopping center off of 520. They are open 12-2 except Tuesdays. They offer a different take on typical diner food, but you can still get that too. I really enjoyed their soft shell crab benedict. Nice and different white hollandaise sauce. My son had their homemade bread French Toast. It was more like cake in texture and taste, so no need for syrup. My wife had a BLY on marble rye. The main complaint was not enough...read full review
Tried this place today after reading about a neighbor's rave review. Have passed them by for the past couple years because it doesn't look like much from the outside. Place is larger inside than it looks and nicely decorated. Server was super friendly and food was excellent. Food takes a while to come out but is freshly cooked and worth the wait. Prices are also very reasonable.
