The pizza here is priced a bit lower than the average pizza joints in the area. Open late nights. We came late night and there were quite a few people there. The place seats less than 10 so dont expect a table. Pizza was low average to average. Premade. Groovy's a few blocks down is better.

We came after leaving a tapas bar sooo hungry! Soooo good, but I think at that point I could have eaten cardboard and been happy. Satisfied my late night crave. Thanks to the humble taxi driver for making a pit stop on our way home!

Ok....So there is a newish pizza shop on Washington Av. The first time I was there they were offering a special price on Tuesdays for a slice so I stopped in and gave it a try. Special price aside it was a great slice. They are doing something right. There is something about the flour and the flavors that just leaves you wanting more. A nice guy from Russia.....an owner I believe is concientious; When I added oregano, pepper, garlic and then asked for a little olive oil on the top he took a moment to sit it in the oven for a few moments without asking. What a nice touch! The regular price for there large plain slices is $2.50 which I like. I haven't tried the shakes yet but the pizza deserves more than 3 stars. The reason I do not give more than three stars is because on my 5 or 6th visit or so....a short stout cook who was new to me started to call me a f***** piece of shit!..and again on the next visit also! I think it stemmed from me wanting only one slice the first time he took my order. .....but I'm not sure really. In any case this really affects the atmosphere. I kinda wish he'd stop doing that so I can enjoy to continue going there. If this guy could calm down a little I'll probably raise my rating. And just to be totally clear....if it matters....this pizza cook called me a f***** piece of s*** in spanish. I do want to be accurate.
Awesome food, helpful staff, consistently good mood. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is awesome. Highly recommended.
