“Such an incredible atmosphere of being sat by the river. The staff was extremely attentive in the food came out very quickly. I was blown away by the quality and presentation. Everything was its own unique experience, including a wasabi and pineapple martini a must try. Ming will take care of you!“
“From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, Edgar waited on us and guided us through everything. Super professional and attentive, what an outstanding guy. The preparation of the dishes is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place. Thank you very much Edgar.“
“Been coming here for years, never fails to disappoint. Nice seeing the same friendly faces, Sandy is really kind very attentive. Food is always amazing. My kids love the gyoza but the wings right now are soooo good. We always end it with the Thai donuts!“
“Very nice experience! Great for date night we went around 9 on a Sunday and it felt like a private dining experience. The waitress was very knowledgeable about everything and very personable. The food was fabulous we got the Caesar salad, seafood risotto, and chicken scallopini. Will definitely go back we dug into our mains so fast we forgot to take pictures!“
“The experience was above and beyond the expectations. The sushi quality and presentation was Japan level and the attention to detail by everyone was amazing. Even the presentation of the sushi ordered to go was incredible. The experience exceeded expectations. The quality and presentation of the sushi was on par with Japan and the attention to detail from everyone was incredible. Even the presentation of the sushi ordered to go was amazing.“
“This is my fave restaurant in Miami, possibly in North America. Been here 3 different times and each time the service and food have been outstanding. The dishes are delicious and well crafted and I always look forward to coming here when I’m in the city. Tried a lot of Michelin guide restaurants in diff places and this place is consistently great. Must visit!!“
“On our way back to Connecticut we found this restaurant! Our waiter was Sandra she was absolutely amazing, so sweet! Not only her but that atmosphere and food was amazing! From the Dominican themed props all the way down to the Dominican sushi.OPEN IN CONNECTICUT THANKS :D“
“My girlfriend and I went here tonight and had a wonderful experience! Our server Andres was phenomenal! His suggestions were all amazing we got the tuna tartare, tuna tataki, high roller boat, the brownie and the tempura banana. Everything was absolutely delicious. Andres recommended the sour passion martini which paired very well with the sushi. He also recommended the espresso martini to pair with the brownie. I don’t drink but we tried both of them and agreed they were delicious and paired great with what he recommended. All of the fish was perfect and tasted very fresh. This was definitely the best sushi I have ever had and the experience was great. The pricing is very fair and competitive. The martinis are $12 each normally but they have happy hour from 4-7pm which makes them just $6. The seating is interesting, you have the option to sit at a normal table or sit at a “booth” but at the booth you sit legs crossed on a raised wooden platform. Usually I would be hesitant of something like this because I would not expect it to be very clean but it was! It was a bit odd at first but we got used to it quick and it made it a fun experience. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!“
“I loved the style of the restaurant! It Might have been an off night, but we didn't have great service while sitting outside. They didn't inform us ahead of time of items that were unavailable for the night of our dining experience which made choosing something to eat a trial and error experience. On the good side, hey have a nice happy hour menu for small bites to share.“
“Ceviche is always good.Sushi is always bad (do not get the spicy tuna roll). Service is always mediocre.I’ve been here maybe 10x in the last 2 years. Look at this spicy tuna roll. Worse than gas station sushi.Parking: Free parking lot with a couple of spaces, usually not full“
“The food in the restaurant was super special and the girls were super friendly, especially our waitress Fabiola. Super recommended as a restaurant and they surely already have a new regular customerVegetarian options: YeahDietary restrictions: YeahParking: EasyKid-friendliness: YeahWheelchair accessibility: Yeah“
“What a great experience! Right in South Miami! Our waitress, Karen, was amazing! Very attentive and extremely helpful with the menu and drinks. She recommended the Omakase Signature to share. It comes with a variety of sushi. Compliments to the chef, it was exactly what we wanted and needed. 100% recommend coming down and seeing Karen and enjoying the delicious food and atmosphere!“
“After a long day of traveling, I used Uber Eats to order dinner and have it delivered to my hotel late on Wednesday, 04-03-24. I ordered the mimo roll and harumaki. The order was delivered a little earlier than promised, which was greatly appreciated.Being hungry, the more of the mimo roll I ate, the better it tasted. It was very filling. There were 3 of the harumaki. I shared some and had some for breakfast. This was one of the few options that were available for late night delivery. I'd definitely order again when in the area.“
“Loved the sushi that I got. Definitely on the pricey side though. A downside is that they do not make modifications in their sushi which I found weird. My friend who is vegan wanted to take off the cream cheese in the sushi and they said they cannot modify the sushis. So take that into consideration.“
“I have never before had a culinary experience like my time at Hiyakawa. From the moment you walk in you’ll be greeted by Amber and taken to your table, where you’re family. If you’re having trouble deciding on what to order, ask Miguel to give you the Miguelito special, your taste buds with thank you. Don’t sleep on the premier sushi/omakase experience in Miami!“
“Don't hesitate to book a table at this gem of a restaurant—it's quickly become my top choice for sticky rice and omakase dining in the area. It is located in a vibrant area with a spacious courtyard and various shops, and it offers the perfect opportunity for a post-meal exploration or dancing. The 16-course omakase experience here is a standout, especially for someone accustomed to the sushi scenes in NYC. It competes strongly on both quality and price. From the outset, the hostess Caroline set the tone with her warm, attentive service, ensuring my water glass was never empty and making my solo dining experience far from lonely through engaging conversations. The chef, with her Laotian heritage, masterfully prepared each dish, from the hand rolls to the sticky rice selections, adding a personal touch that enhances the dining experience. The variety of dishes was impressive, with the Japanese scallops, the A5 Wagyu hotplate, and the hand rolls being my personal highlights. To finished off the evening, the hostess surprised me with an early birthday desert treat. This, was truly the highlight of my food trip in Miami.Every time I find myself in Miami, this will undoubtedly be my chosen spot for an exceptional dining experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant and space has a ramp to enter the space.“
“dali helped me at my dining tonight and must i said what a survive she asked me if i like everything i ate which i thought was a very good survive we definitely will be coming back also i asked what an ingredient was in the tuna tataki which is great by the way and she told me exactly what that ingredient was“
“I love the food and the service, as I have been here several times. The only reason I'm giving four out of five stars this time around, is because we were practically rushed out of the restaurant. We had a reservation at 10:30, and the kitchen closed at 10:45, which we were not made aware of before being seated. That was no issue, but we were only sitting down for less than 45 minutes before they practically ushered us out of the restaurant and turned on the fire alarm. My only suggestion is if they would have wish to close early, maybe don't see people less than an hour before closing.“
“Spectacular Kami Koi. The atmosphere, the delicious food, we were served by Josué who, in addition to being very friendly, explained each dish in detail and they were all delicious ?. Thank you Josué for your attention! 100% recommended and we will return soon.“
“Had amazing experience at this restaurant! The food really exceeded my expectations, especially for being in the middle of Wynwood, I personally haven't had many good dining experiences here. My favorite were the Rock n Roll tempura and the Hoshi Dragon rolls, which were their signature dishes. The fish was fresh, and the dishes were all visually appealing. The service was also excellent, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!“
“Im hesitant to post this because it’s truly a hidden gem right now but this restaurant/market and chef Takashi deserve their praise. It’s the best and most authentic sushi I have had in Miami. It’s the only nigiri I’ve had that has the proper size and freshness you would expect from good, high quality nigiri. By far the most similar to the nigiri I have had in Japan. No tiny pieces where they’re skimping you out on fish and loading it with rice and sprinkling truffle oil to make a sad piece of nigiri look appealing. This is the real deal and so worth it. Can’t wait to check it out in person“
“I absolutely looove this place. It’s really a hidden gem. My waiter Reiny was so nice and she recommended us to try the coco-lemonade and it was so refreshing and delicious. I always get the banana crunch roll and ceviche empanadas and they never disappoint!! Come once and you’ll always come back!!“
“My favorite sushi place in Miami!!! Seriously tops every other restaurant. Freshest fish even when you get takeout. I am obsessed with this place I cannot recommend enough!! Spicy tuna crispy rice and all rolls/ nigiri are amazing. Great price for quality.“
“This was right across the street from our hotel and we thought about trying it a few times. Our Uber driver told us it was great so went the next morning for an early lunch. Our host/server was welcoming and gave us some great advice on the menu. The entire staff was friendly. It’s a small restaurant with a dozen bar stools or so and similar number of tables. Luckily we were there early and it was a holiday so no problem with seating. It was impeccably clean. We shared a few small plates including scallion pancakes, spring rolls and chicken dumplings. The mandarine orange sauce with the spring rolls was yummy. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The flavors were amazing. It was the best tasting food we had during our weekend in Miami.“
“Such a cool spot! Tucked behind a taco joint, this place has a hidden door that can only be accessed with a code (which is sent to the day of your reservation)Hiden actually means ‘secret’ in Japanese100% worth the money! The food, service and ambiance were top notchThe quality of the fish and all of the ingredients for that matter was astounding. You can easily taste the differenceOUSTANDING!“
“I would give them more stars if I could. One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service was so pleasant (night shift on Wednesday 28th) food was incredible well prepared and served. Everything here excedes any expectation.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The best restaurant in Medellín now here in Miami, everything excellent, the food, the atmosphere, the location but above all the attention from Leo and José who made us feel very welcome and were always very attentive. We will be back . Many successes!“
“The food was delicious the takoyaki ( octopus balls )was crispy on the outside and warm and creamy on the inside such a delightful flavor is slightly sweet and savory. The Korean bowl is always a favorite it’s simple filling for a good price . The environment is cozy and clean perfect for a quick bite or a casual date .“
“Enzo is one of the most professional guy I have ever met. He’s always on a good mod , very respectful polite, smile on his face , proper clean uniform and ready for his customers, always knows and remembers what I order and never disappoints, food is excellent and environment absolutely awesome, I’ll recommend this please ? % . 10 stars ⭐️“
“I dine at Sushi Chef about every ten days, for good reason. It serves proper, correctly prepared Japanese food and has done so consistently for years. It is not a fancy place, but the food is extraordinarily good. Just delicious. And it is clean as a whistle, a rarity for Miami restaurants. Go there, you will not be disappointed.“
“Really wonderful experience here! Food was fresh and came out fairly quickly. One area for improvement: hire additional servers. There was only one girl working. She busted her hump and did great but I can't imagine if the place was busier... she wouldn't have been able to keep up. I think she had at least 6 tables while we were there.“
“This is one of our favorite omakase places in Miami. We have been to them all. Even the pop ups. Ahi is great, authentic Japanese omakase. If you like intimate small, causal setting with quality sushi / sashimi, I suggest this place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.“
“Osaka is like a masterclass in maximizing the creative potential of fusion cuisine. The dishes and cocktails are Peruvian-Japanese inspired and all an exciting experience in themselves. Our group of 6 went to Osaka with an open mind ready to try anything - our server Daniel made our experience, taking the time to personally curate a sampling of many of the highlights from Osaka. Essentially like a hand-picked omakase experience. He was thoughtful, attentive, and funny and gave us all the information on everything presented, checking in to see how we liked the various things chosen. Definitely want to recognize him for his service as he made our first-time experience exceptional! Some of the highlights of the food (that I can remember to describe accurately, at least!) included a tartare dish served on squid ink-infused nori crackers and sprinkled with gold leaf (the first dish chosen and a true show-stopper), the Japanese scallop nigiri (simple but incredibly flavorful and seared at our table), the Wagyu beef and crispy shrimp rolls topped with foie gras (also freshly seared at our table), the Japanese beef prepared table-side with quail eggs and a foie gras topping, the raw wagyu served with a hot stone for table-side searing along with a delicious side of crispy potatoes, and a very buttery soft fish dish (I think the black cod?).Aside from how delicious and fresh the food was, the presentation and preparation was a huge part of the experience. Many things as mentioned were seared at the table, prepared table-side, or allowed us to freshly cook our food. Also adding to the experience was the art of the cocktail presentation. Many of the cocktail were served very beautifully and they had exceptional flavor. Our party ordered their version of the Negroni that came presented in a smoking box. A couple of us also had the cocktail that had green tea/matcha (I don't remember the name :/) and it was also beautifully presented as a pour-over in a small bowl with crushed ice. Aside from presentation, both cocktails had expertly balanced flavors and definitely tasted as good as they looked. Osaka overall is an incredible experience and highly recommend! And a big thank you again to Daniel for being a big part making our experience amazing!“
“The Ichimi Ramen was really good, it tasted very different from other tonkotsu ramen ive had before, this was tasted more earthy and I loved it. The atmosphere was nice, low music, good ambience. Extremely fast, ordered the food and it was on my table under 5min. 100% recommend.“
“20 years eating here for a reason. Food is great, sashimi is a good size portion for the price compared to other places. They’ve never messed up my order. Recommend the yummy yummy roll but everything is delicious here. If you order on their website there’s a discount. They deliver as well.Dietary restrictions: They are always very accommodating of any requests I have“
“Offers an impeccable atmosphere that elevates the sushi experience. The serene ambiance, thoughtful decor, and subtle background music create a perfect setting for a delightful meal. Whether a sushi enthusiast or a first-timer, the inviting atmosphere enhances the overall dining pleasure. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Locals, check this place out. Hidden local treasure. Outstanding service , ambience, food is amazing. The rolls are delicious, all the ingredients extremely fresh and they manage to keep the same quality even in deliveries.Highly recommend as a great hidden treasure in our city.“
“During our vacation, our visit to Sushi Sake Biscayne was a delight, marked by friendly staff and amazing food that truly stood out. My husband was particularly impressed with their sushi, praising its freshness and flavor, while I found myself enamored with their chicken fried rice and chicken hibachi—both dishes were cooked to perfection. We also indulged in their desserts, which were a wonderful end to our meal. The ambiance is welcoming, making for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch sushi and more.“
“The course menu came with lots of variety of dishes and bbq meat. It was pretty fun grilling dessert marshmallows over the bbq fire and making smore.Friendly service. Our first grill did not work, and it was addressed quickly and we were moved to another table with the working grill.“
“Used to be the Best sushi in Miami.Quality has gone down. Cuts are smaller. Although They were able to raise the prices a lot of the prices after covid, still cutting smaller pieces . Have been eating here for 16 years.Tuna roll looks from gas station now.“
“I was so hungry I didn't take a picture of my sushi but I had the haiku. It was really good they made it with love because even though it was made on a truck the presentation and taste of it was amazing. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by again for more before my vacation is over.“
“Fresh, creative and delicious! We were very impressed with the originality of the sushi options they offer. Great care goes into the ingredients and their freshness as well as the eco friendly plates, cups and utensils they use. The locations is great and easy to get to from the highway. They also offer excellent dessert choices. We recommend Kraken Crudo highly ♥️“
“My goodness. I have LONGGGGGG WAITED to make a reservation here, what better timing than marking the end of my 14 Year Miami Stint? Combine that with a good friend's birthday and it's a winning combination!!! Memorable, delicious, enjoyable, intimate, I mean - so so so worth it.“
“You must come and enjoy the food, the place, wonderful location, great environment and service! You should come. Truly unmissable. The food is exceptionally delicious, served by very attentive, respectful staff in an atmosphere of tranquility and joy!“
“Henry and Juliets is a lot smaller than you expect but this spot definitely does ramen right. When not busy you can find seating all around the floor. Staff was friendly, and the ramen was amazing. Definitely feel like they should add more meat to the dish. Feels as if they're cutting cost there vs how they should be, what's expected.“
“Kem served us expeditiously and accurately to the best of her abilities. The food lacked that wok flavor we are love from Peruvian fare but sufficed. The service was our favorite part of the evening. It was timely and with a smile. Thank you again for a wonderful St. Patrick's dinner at SuViche.Parking: Park at the metrorail and shuttle here!“
“I am from Chicago where there are many great steak and ethnic restaurants so when I visit Miami I want a unique experience with excellent food! I love the Pink Dolphin because it delivers really tasty fusion Japanese Peruvian food from a food truck! I loved the bright pink patio and the adjacent art gallery! And, I did have a drink in the hidden VIP bar which had the movie Casablanca theme! I am going to celebrate my March birthday in Lauderdale and am planning to have my birthday dinner at the Pink Dolphin! That’s how much I enjoyed the atmosphere and food!Parking: Parking was easy to find Excellent location“
“Ordered through DoorDash and loved everything I got. Fresh sushi I am surprised there isn't more reviews. Hamachi jalapeño was my favorite, comes with ponzu and jalapeño. I also got the crispy tuna rice, rice was crispy but the tuna could be a bit more spicy. Professional roll was yummy. Food was ready fast I will definitely be ordering again“
“What an amazing hidden gem in Brickell! We’ve lived here 7 years and have been looking for a no-frills, laid back sushi restaurant and we’ve finally found it! Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful (Marisella was very very kind and attentive). We dined in last night and loved it so much, we ordered takeout tonight. Highly recommend!“
“You guys will have a gastronomical orgasm here. From the sushi to the dessert I wanted to cry tears of joy with each bite. You guys remember when the restaurant critic had a bite of Remy’s ratatouille and it took him back to his childhood when he was just a lad, that’s what will happen to you here.“
