Quiet and tranquil beach setting, good for relaxing with young kids.The beach itself needs more sand brought in near the water, as it was quite muddy. The water was not too appealing to go for a swim, but it was a nice spot to relax and play in the sand further away.There are plenty of palm trees for shade so no need to bring an umbrella.Bathrooms are close by and relatively clean.Easy parking, pay by phone app was about $8 for the whole day.Restrooms: Next to the restaurant
Sich a beautiful nature trail through old growth trees full of Spanish moss and stunning bromeliads. And some many warblers! Avoid Fairchild Botanical garden if you sont want to pay the $25 entrance fee -- highway robbery. Matheson offers more for no fee.

Beautiful place for family, great outdoor location, and beach for children's clean. so sometimes a lot of bugs and mosquitoes bro g spray just in case, county should spray swamp area without damaging the environment but keeping it safe for families Love the place
