Had a delicious dinner this week. Lamb chops with risotto, also pork chop with fettuccine and tiramisu for dessert. Restaurant opens for dinner at 4 and although we got the impression some staff were not happy about customers coming in 5 minutes early, we were warmly welcomed by Bella.Bella was very efficient without hovering and answered questions with ease. Becoming One of our Top spots.
This is not one of the swank restaurants on fifth Avenue, but that is one of the reasons I like it. It’s perfect for an easy night away from the big crowds. All the food is delicious, but I especially love the pizza. So good. The service is a little spotty, but that’s pretty much anywhere these days. I didn’t love my margarita, but I guess I shouldn’t expect to at an Italian restaurant, lol. They serve bread and oil at no charge, and they have a nice sized menu. Overall,...read full review

Food always good here. It gets busy in season and had a few problems with take away - twice having to return to collect forgotten items from order. Last time waited for a long time and eventually asked. The hostess forgot we were waiting. Beware of busy periods but otherwise excellent.
