I have been back to Carmelita's 4 times since 2012 when I left the area with my best friend the love of my life Craig. Each time I've asked if Jose the owner was there. Jose helped me organize a party for Craig.Jose did come in and I did get to speak to him. Food and service is still great...glad to see Jose and Carmelita's is still doing well.... This place will always have a special place in my heart... Linda
The fajitas were super burnt and had basically onions and chicken.Will not return for the fajitas.Went without drinks for awhile and honestly didn't enjoy the experienceUpdateServer was amazing ! Very sweet and made sure we had everything we neededFood was better!

Their salsa is awesome, the best I've ever had. You can even get some to go!It's been a while since I've eaten here. It is almost as good as I remember it, which says a lot for 8+ years. I asked questions about the dishes as my memory isn't as good as it used to be, and the staff wasn't knowledgeable. They were friendly and polite, just not knowledgeable about the dishes served. Solid restaurant to visit every few years.
