“My wife and I drove from Palm Coast Florida to new Smyrna Beach to try this restaurant. I don’t know what all the negative reviews are about. It should be 5.0 I saw the staff was extremely friendly. The service was fast. The food was awesome. We don’t have a Chinese buffet in Palm Coast Florida. I wish they would open up a second location up here but until they do, we are going to to be making the round-trip to do Smyrna beach and back to our house in Palm Coast, Florida, with, full tummies!!!.We were there at lunchtime on a Friday and it was $13.50 per person. My wife had ice water I had a hot tea and ice water. It came out to about $30 plus a gratuity we gave them 20% so 36 bucks not bad for as much as we could eat. ??☠️?☠️?❤️ ???☠️????“
“Absolutely the best Asian food between STA and Orlando. Hidden in a shopping/office center, this is a true gem. Be prepared to spend 10 to 15 minutes studying the huge menu with selections from all over Asia.The service is fast and friendly, the food is freshly prepared and delicious. The restaurant gets crowded fast so there may be a wait, but is well worth it.“

“Due to family health matters we have been spending a great deal of time in Port Orange. Much time is spent in assisting with these medical concerns and normal life schedules and routines are being disrupted. To meet the need for a quick meal we tried the China Star, a Chinese take out restaurant. We were not disappointed. The menu offers a varied selection and the food is fresh and good.“
“This place has new owners. I would disregard any review that is over a year old. The person taking the order is actually a service. So any complaints regarding order taking over the phone is wholly subject to the outsourced answering service. The woman upfront, Candy, was extremely nice and pleasant. My food was made quickly, it was hot and fresh. Unlike many other Chinese food, restaurants, condiment packets sre freely, tossed into the bag and not held back like gold bars This restaurant no longer offers a buffet. It’s unfortunate that the old reviews are still on this site reflecting the new ownership.“
“The food we ordered was awesome. My friend ordered something that was not on the menu and they never hesitated. Prices were also great we got combos that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll.. keep up the good work guys!!! We will be back!!!“
“Finally! I have found a reasonably-priced Chinese restaurant in this area that I want to go back to. 4.5 stars. The vegetable egg foo young was fried to perfection, not too oily and crammed full with veggies. The Szechwan tofu had plenty of tofu and the broccoli was cooked just right-not too soggy or crunchy although it could have been slightly more spicy. The chicken with garlic saucy was garlicky, spicy goodness with plenty of broccoli and bell peppers. It was picked up piping hot just 20 minutes after I ordered. They even threw in yummy almond cookies for free. I will be back next time I want a take out meal.“
“Most of the time this place is fast and the food is great, but the combo plates are the way to go. Last time I ordered crabraggons and they were a bit dry and not full. Usually there great. Busy on weekend nights call ahead. Very nice people.“

“The Chinese restaurant we used to go to (Asian Sauce Bowl) is under new management. The new owners raised the prices. $12 for soup is ridiculous and the menu is very confusing. Enter the China Chef. We ordered twice so far and we were pleasantly surprised both times. We tried hot and sour soup, eggrolls, dumplings, kung pao chicken and Szechuan beef. All dishes were excellent. The portions were generous and tasty. You get 8 dumplings in an order and they were quite good for take out. The sauces on the chicken and the beef dishes were savory, delicious and well made. The veggies were crisp and cooked to perfection. The chicken and beef were stir fried perfectly. We hope that the quality of this restaurant continues to be as good as our first 2 encounters and we look forward to going back.“

Love that you can ask to make any dish spicier and they will add chilies to your liking.P.S My stupid self went to their competitor today (place by Publix) as they were closed on Wednesday and was utterly disappointed.Well... my fault. “A very pleasant experience with such a variety of food! The dinner buffet all day Sunday had oysters on the half shell, shrimp prepared in at least 7-10 different ways, blue crab, and lots of Asian food, including sushi! They also offer snow crab legs at an additional fee. There was so much to choose from, so I didn't get the snow crab. It was absolutely ?!“
“I have anted good Chinese food. People at work told me to try this place . I'm so glad we did. We got Mongolian beef. She was so nice. Asked what kind of veggies I wanted. Let me tell you. It was delicious. We also got steak on a stick. Very tender and great flavor . Cream cheese wontons full of flavor. Ribs very sweet and tender . Pork fried rice with lots of veggies. We found out new favorite place. We liv in port orange but will make the trip . Well worth it“
