“The food was very tasty and the service was super fast. They served three different salsas with the tortilla chips, plus pico de gallo, all fresh and homemade. The barbacoa was delicious-slow cooked, tender and full of flavor. A little out of the way but highly recommended!“
“This is my most favorite restaurant in okeechobee. It provides a small town and cozy atomsphere.Their food not only is delicious but it is authentic.I am vegetarian so I order things like bean tostados, bean tacos and their spinach enchiladas are excellent also.I rate mexican restaurants heavily by the chips and salsa they serve. Their chips are light and Crispy and the salsa is always warm and delicious.I encourage you to check it out.“
“Came here about two weeks ago for lunch because I could smell the food from across the street, from witch I was dropping of a car to a body shop. I originally wanted three tacos de Al pastor, but I was told they were out. He suggested 4 birria tacos for 15 dollars. Best suggestion ever the tacos were stuffed with meat and cheese and the tortilla was really crisp seasoned with oil from the meat. I’m definitely making this my go to spot for lunch when in okeechobee again. And what is up with people and sour cream lol in the reviews.“
“Definitely a unique dining experience.. to order, you'll have to speak into your phone to translate into Spanish. Tacos were on a rolled corned tortilla, soft. It would be wise to ask for double meat and lettuce... if you can translate that easily.. rustic would be a good way to explain the seating.. everything was very home made. The owner was working her butt off. Not sure if it would get many stars with a Michelin rating but I would take friends there..“
“This place deserves a higher rating. So glad we stopped here while driving through town for lunch. My chicken tacos (corn tortillas) were flavorful, the salsa is really good and we liked the crispy tortilla chips. My husband loved his chicken tamales. We ate in the patio since we had our pup with us which was pleasant. Service was great and food came out quick. Definitely a great spot!“
“Everything is made fresh to order. The help is nice and the service is good. I love their wet dinner which is two wet burritos (I prefer chicken, but chunky beef is good too) with rice and refried beans. It's a good price for the meal and I like to eat there. It's one of my favorite restaurants.Parking: They have parking on the street, around the back and a spacious area to the side where there is a window if you wish to get your take out order there, though you can also wait inside.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair access in the back parking lot, but you can also access it in the front.“
“Don't let the looks desseive you , if you like Mexican food with home made flavor , this is one of those one , the food is simple but delicious and the best part is , it's not too salty or too simple , just right , and best part the of the price is right too!“
“I travel a lot and always look for good tacos and burritos. Recently a buddy and I were looping the state on our motorcycles and found this place. By far the best on our trip, and likely top 5 in many places I’ve eaten over the years! The staff were very friendly, efficient, and working their tails off to get the lunch crowd their food. I loved the fact that the tortillas were made fresh in front of us too.Highly recommended!“
“Great food at good prices. Had large Spanish omelet (it was large!), 1/2 size sausage gravy & biscuits, home fries & grits on the side & all was excellent.Parking: Thank goodness for side parking lot. This place was extremely busy.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking & ramp. Room inside as needed.“
“Ate at this food truck last time we were here at Christmas & enjoyed it so much we sought it out while here on our Spring Break. Had taco dinners, 1 pork, 1 steak, & both were great. Also enjoyed my pineapple agua fresca drink. A lot of interesting menu items, very authentic, great service. Worth the shortish wait for fresh prepared food. Fresh tortillas were delicious. Inexpensive for what you get. Go and try!“
