“Went to TR with a gift card not sure what we would experience. Opens at 3:00pm and got there at 3:30ish thinking it would be desolate. Nope. The place was hopping for happy hour and “linner” specials. We sat at the bar being that the wait for a table was 10 mins. Again….at 3:30. Kelli our bartender was sweet, accommodating and efficient. She asked if we wanted a basket of bread and we thought why not? It was amazingly soft, warm doughy bread with cinnamon butter. While we LOVED it, it filled us up too much and got a large to-go box. Ordered a 22 oz Ultra $4 at happy hour. My husband ordered the Smoke House burger. He didn’t love the BBQ sauce on it but the burger was delicious. I ordered a combo of chicken critters (chicken tenders) and ribs with two sides. I got veggies and a sweet potato. The chicken critters were ok. A little dry. But the ribs were tender and fall-off-the-bone. My veggies (broccoli and carrots) were steamed to perfection and my sweet potato was hot and buttery. Amber, one of the managers, delivered our food and spent a few moments with us making sure our dish was what we wanted. Definitely will return!“
“I'm disabled. I use a manual wheelchair. I have misophonia (super sensitive hearing, sounds -especially louder ones- cause pain to my nerves). So there's no surprise that I had to use earplugs in this sports bar open BBQ pit place. What was surprising is that we were the only customers not at the bar but the music was turned up so very loud. There's nowhere to sit that doesn't have a speaker overhead. It's much more like a bar in that aspect. And for me it totally sucked.I LOVE THEIR FOOD but I'll have to stick to the drive through when I return.Oh DON'T TRY THE WATER.Vegetarian options: I like their vegetable options! I usually eat more vegetarian food but I came here for chicken. I wrongfully assumed they had pulled chicken. “We purchased the San Marco platter and it was more than enough food for two people. Even though the parking lot was full, the person taking the orders was friendly and efficient! “Double Date Night. Mone of us has ever ate at a Mission BBQ before the staff walked us through the menu and were very knowledgeable. I got the smoked Turkey with a side of coleslaw. My fiance got the meat sampler with brisket jalapeno sausage and pulled pork and 2 side baked beans and french fries. My best friend the turkey sandwich with mac and cheese. His wife got the brisket sweet potato pie. It didnt take long before the called our name and our food was ready in less then 10 mins. Everything was amazing we kinda all shared family style. I was extremely impressed by how clean and professional it felt inside, and service was quick and friendly. I ordered the fish bites with green beans and mac & cheese; planned to take a photo but I couldn't stop myself before digging in! Everything was fresh and delicious, great portions, reasonably priced - all the hallmarks of a great food joint. :) I could easily see this place being great for family meals too. “The ambience was great with the decor and many photo options. Drinks were great and not weak. Food was decent, oysters were good but my Mac & cheese was barely heated. Service was a bit slow for the lackmof crowd. We had to wave the waiter down to order our 2nd drink and entrees. Checks are not printed and on the little machine, and the waiter gives it to you at the tip screen but fails to tell you that gratuity is already included in the price causing everyone in your party to tip about 40% each thinking you won't notice. The waiter claimed it was on their digital menu after one of us asked for a printed receipt and was able to see there that the gratuity was already added. We looked all over the digital menu and around the restaurant and we could not find anything posted about it. Of course the manager was gone for the evening and all we could do is leave our names and numbers to have them call the following day to get the bills updated correctly. We definitely felt as the waiter waa taking advantage of us ladies thinking because we had a few drinks and we didn't get printed out checks that he would scam us out of more tip money when we were all going to tip 20% of our bills. Bad service like this is what ruins experiences and attending more events at this location when we would love to again.“

“Today Some N Da Air Bar BQ was in our neighborhood at the Clubhouse for Food truck Fridays. I had some of the best spareribs in Jacksonville in a long time. Very juicy and tender. With awesome sides. Get the tangy spicy bbq sauce was a great addition. The young man was very friendly and helpful.
