This place is awesome! To start, the food was great! We were looking for something a little different from the usual fast food in the parks and this fit the expectations perfectly! Really nice flavors and not too messy, filled perfectly! Now I have to rave about my customer service experience. Never have I been to a restaurant that was so good with allergies before. When I went up to order, the person at the counter asked me if I had any allergies. Normally I have to bring it (peanut allergy) to their attention! After that, while waiting for my food, they asked me if it was okay if my food was cooked in the same oven that the peanuts were roasted in. After that, while picking up a friend’s food, they asked me to be careful handling it since one of their items had peanuts on it. My food was marked with a small colored flag/toothpick compared to my friends and it was also noted multiple times on the receipt!tl;dr: Awesome food! Fantastic customer service! If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, this is a great place to eat!!Dietary restrictions: Very allergy friendly and has vegetarian options! Also flexible to removing items from the buns!

This place is a rip-off. Two small buns, whihc you can buy at Aisan market for $1, cost more than $14. I highly recommend you not to visit this restaurant and especially not buy that Panda comb.

Wow, the food was delicious! I regret not trying the dumplings. I ordered this meal to go, after a long day at the park I wanted to try some new and different at our hotel. The pork belly was absolutely delicious, it was uniquely seasoned but soo good, my picky nine-ager even liked it. Duck was surprisingly good, it wasn’t chewy it was tender. Shrimp was also very very good well seasoned and the garnish compliments very well. The steamed bread they used was my favorite it had a hint of sweetness but not over powering or cooked it just compliment and taste very good with different spices and flavors. Also, my daughter has the mango bubble it was good nothing extravagant to brag about like the mini “taco”.

This company doesn’t care about food safety/cross contamination. After assuring my husband that his food (the duck bao bun) would not have any contact with shrimp or shrimp juice, he had an allergic reaction right after taking a couple bites of the food. We had alerted both the cashier and the manager of his allergy prior to ordering, and this still happened. And the food there wasn’t even good. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Got four chicken, and two ducks. First three baos came out cold and tasted old, then the next three came out fresh and was ok at best. Chicken had very little actual chicken, however the duck was very packed. Fillings tasted ok, but the actual bao was nice. Nothing

Had 3 bao tacos: shrimp, which was my favorite, has some flavor to it. Brisket, tasted the brisket right out the gate. Not a lot of seasoning or flavor to the meat itself but like the complimentary toppings though. Duck, had some flavor to it and a little kick but nothing over the top, didn't actually taste the duck as much. Overall, I liked this unique fusion experience.

Ate here last year and enjoyed the bao although I thought it was skimpy on the fillings. This year I decided to give it another try- took my family. Walked up, choosing bao at 7:55pm. Apparently they close at 8pm. Guy sees us Looking at the menu and yells we’re closed at us. He then proceeds to take the next order from another guy in line. I don’t think I’ll be giving this place a 3rd try after trying to scramble for food for my family. Disappointed - I love Bao and the flavor combos look amazing. A City Walk restaurant should be prepared to be slammed at closing time of Universal Parks and not be “closed” as patrons walk up to order.

My family and I have visited Universal a handful of times over the years, but this is the first time we’ve been here. We went in with high expectations. It took a little longer to prepare, but it was understandable. Good things take longer sometimes. Well I get our order and by first looks it looked great. Get it to our table. We tried to decipher what was what. Every single bao was missing something. And the duck even had stuff that wasn’t even listed as an ingredient. So I can’t even fully review the actual taste of it. As the ingredients usually complement each other. The actual duck (not everything else) tasted good, the brisket (how little there was) tasted good, the pork belly was overly chewy. I’m sure they would have tasted great if everything advertised would have been included. If a return visited is ever made, hopefully these slip ups would be rectified.

Food was nice, service was unbelievably slow considering it’s just bao buns to go.

Expensive, average quality, and it took them 30 minutes to make 3 baos. I should have read the reviews.

Expensive for what it is. Buns are small. Nobody seemed to care when I visited, took a while to make eye contact with someone to take my order, long wait, had to ask to get food which was cold by then. Flavor profiles are good though. Management doesn't pay people enough to care? I dunno but don't waste your time.

Delicious - hit the spot after a long day of traveling. You order at the window - no seating inside. In a quieter section of the chaotic city walk.

Awful and nasty bland food. Took 30 minutes to make 4 baos. Would not recommend anyone to come eat here.
