Lack of flavor and self awareness. The bulgogi was not marinated. Left the food and went to Tako Cheena for a Korean burrito for actual flavor / conviction.

Great place for large groups. Our family had plenty of room while still receiving perfect service and assistance on menu items. The only reason for a 4 in the atmosphere section was the close seating with other tables. Some people may not like that.

Well, it was almost empty at dinnertime. Prices seem unreasonable. There was a full staff standing around, although that did not mean we were checked on, as beverages weren’t very well attended to. I guess the neighborhood is trendy so they make ends meet here, but there are definitely Korean restaurants with a better vibe overall in central florida.

My wife and I had dinner here, and it was a good choice. The food and service were fantastic. If you choose this restaurant, give the dumplings a try you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's very easy to drive past because it is off of a very busy area off 50. My server was Dante, and he was amazing. I have quite a few food, allergies, and he was knowledgeable about the entire menu, and as far as what I could, and couldn't eat. If he had any question at all, he would ask to make sure it was safe. That is something I am always gracious for beyond words, because there are quite a few restaurants where servers don't even know what gluten is, and they think eggs fall under the dairy category lol. The food was absolutely incredible. My favorite meat was the beef brisket. It's very high-quality and flavorful. All the sides that came out were delicious as well. I especially loved the radish kimchi and the dressing on the side salad. I usually don't have the pleasure of enjoying many of the sides, as a lot of other restaurants don't use gluten-free soy sauce. I highly recommend, and this is now my new favorite Korean barbecue restaurant.

The place is small and the little meat that you get is too expensive.

It seems that Korean restaurants' quality and taste have significantly improved even in the United States and Canada lately, but it feels like the ones here are not up to that standard.

We got their seafood chigae for take out and it was pretty decent so we went back to try a sit-down meal. We went on a weekday when they had a special on tteokboki (30% off). We got that, seafood pajun, and beef bulgogi. Everything was very tasty, generous amount of seafood in the pajun and beef bulgogi was flavored well. Ban chan were all good.

I've been coming here since the old location. Shin Jung is one of my all-time favorite Orlando restaurants. I have spent many birthdays, holidays, and good times here with friends and family. My younger brother served in Korea, and we can always take him here when he is missing Incheon. Delicious, wholesome, comforting traditional Korean dishes and always kind service.

Before we ordered, my friend said she was allergic to nuts. They said stay away from the kimchi. When they delivered the meal, they said it was a dish without kimchi (theirs has peanut butter) but we found out later that there definitely was kimchi in it. That could have hurt or killed somebody.

We live in Jacksonville Beach but were flying out of Orlando, and we found this gem. Kalbi, kimchi jigae, and all the banchan were fabulous! Our waitress (lunch time 2.15.24) was also wonderful and helped us navigate the menu. We will definitely include a detour to here anytime we fly out of Orlando.

Shin Jung is the pinnacle of korean barbecue in Orlando. There are lots of great places to get bulgogi in this area, but Shin Jung is a step above. This was my first time going here since the fire and the refurbishment. Even prior to then Shin Jung was considered the best. Dare I say that they're better than I remember. The rice is sticky and perfectly cooked, by far the best at any korean restaurant I've been to.We got beef bulgogi, kalbi, and spicy pork bulgogi (we had to request it spicy, and they only give you spicy pork if you let them cook it for you as opposed to on the table). All were delicious and top notch, perfectly marinated and high quality cuts of meat. The sides are all good, the Kimchi is some of the best quality I've had. It was fresh, crunchy, and juicy. I do wish they had bean sprouts but I'm not too worked up with them not having it. I like the fermented fish too. After we ate all of the meat we finished with iced Sujeonggwa (ginger cinnamon drink), which was delicious. This was my first time having it. A mellow sweet ginger flavor that finishes with a strong cinnamon flavor. Our last course was getting some fresh beef dumplings in the world. I was expecting the usual average potstickers. What we got was out of this world. The lightly fried puff pastry like exterior wasn't oily or too thick. The meat inside was sweet, like marinated bulgogi. We ended up eating half of it and taking the rest home. If you eat at Shin Jung, do not miss out on these. They're perfect for the end of a meal to take some home. The service here was excellent, the restaurant was spotless, and the interior looked shiny and new. Like a Phoenix this restaurant rose from the ashes and didn't perish like a dog, but instead came back stronger than before.
