The mara is the quick service eatery located on the ground floor at animal kingdom jambo house. A fairly simple menu consisting of burgers, salads and other meat and rice bowls. Food is cooked fresh once ordered and brought to the table. Alternatively ypu can place a mobile.order via the Disney experience app.
If you're staying at AKL, the Mara is such a nice reprieve from the standard American food options across Disney. One can only eat burgers and fries so often before either feeling gross or getting constipated.We ended up getting Mara pretty often and even picked up mobile orders to bring with us to Magic Kingdom. Food is decent. They do have specialty items on the menu like Zebra domes. Never have to wait too long for food but I definitely recommend ordering food within the app rather than waiting in line.
