Great food for breakfast, coffee and pastries. Had their lunch..rice and beans phenomenal. The meat dishes were smaller than expected. It was savory and flavorful. Service is lacking though. Combo of not enough people to a few that have a "whatever" attitude. I do see the kitchen staff hustling and the food comes out fast..just getting it to you is an issue. My cortado did take forever. Got it after my pastries and I had to hound the young lady up front twice. But after that first sip... all was forgiven. The place had many dirty tables. But...the food is so delicious! Empanadas tastes homemade. The coffee is truly amazing. Strong and smooth. The breakfast sandwiches are sooo good. Not the best atmosphere to eat at but will risk it anyway because their food is really good. Parking wasn't that bad on a Tuesday afternoon.

This was a great place when it opened. Over the years the quality and quantity of the food has gone way down. The Cuban has hardly any meat and all I got for all of the pickles was the cut off ends that should be trash. The potatoes used to be the very best ever with onions and garlic. Now just barely cooked chunks with NO FLAVOR! Never will get another penny of my money. Greedy owners are so short-sided

Good service and environment but the food it’s horrible. I had a Cuban sandwich last time and it was so greasy I couldn’t even eat a bite and my boyfriend ordered the worst ropa vieja ever. The pastries taste like they have 3 days baked.

I have eaten at different locations and each time I had a good experience. The food comes out fresh and tasted great. It is a good place to have Cuban style food, they also do takeout.Parking: This is located in Waterford Lakes so there are plenty of parking spots available

Horrible food. Ordered the picadillo and it was too sweet. Rice was hard and lumpy like meatballs. My wife ordered the Ropa Vieja and it was way too sweet. The beans were dry. My mom and kids ordered the palomilla. Super dry. I had to hold her plate just for them to cut it. Not to say the amount of grease floating on top of it. It was way over cooked. We have had their sandwiches before and breakfast with no issues but having their main plates was a terrible experience. Not including the cost of each of these meals. Very Disappointed.
I ordered Ropa Vieja, the food was awful, the meat was without flavor, the rice was dry, the maduros were burned and,the black beans were very bitter. The tables dirty. I'm not coming back.

Zaza is a great go-to place for a quick hot meal buuuuut I recommend the one in Oviedo currently. I think the service at the Waterford location has changed a lot over time. It used to be amazing but even the quality of food and cleanliness does not seem to have improved.
