Maybe it was just a couple of bad days, but twice already, the "quesitos" (fluffy pastry filled with sweet cheese) were lacking their usual flavor, freshness, and caramel type coating. Food prices are somewhat on the high side. My wife and I used to love that and their pastelillos, it's unfortunately not the same. I hope they get back on the right track.
Whenever I come to Florida I look for the restaurant in the area with the best Cubano. Zaza's fills that bill. Outstanding. The only thing that makes it not the same is the lack of the diagonal cut. Big deal. It eats the same. Well

A family member always tells me that small franchises depend more on the Chef than on their fame... My case with this Zaza branch is proof of this, perhaps it was just a bad day of who made our food (a Cuban Sandwich and a fried egg breakfast) but if they already lacked enthusiasm in their preparation, when compared to the other two branches of Zaza that I have been to in Orlando, it makes one think that it is a problem of the Chef of this branch......
